  Why does everyone automatically say "oh sorry if I was an asshole" or something along those lines when they state their opinion?
  It's not a bad thing but it's weird...meh
  
  I agree, people should suck it up and take it in stride, rather than acting possesive over everything; it's like "c'mon, get off your high horse"
  
  I swear, not trying to start drama, but some of the rating shit down is actually active users not liking that person in general.

  Hell to the yeah!! You couldn't have said it any better, people in life will always try to bring you down but you just gotta stick up your middle finger and say 'Fuck you' to those dragging you down. Another Gerard quote that comes to mind is "A smile is the best revenge..." people should just smile and show that they don't give a fuck...
  
  Also the people who are leaving because of the drama also need to think about the readers who enjoy their writing, it makes me sad to think that people who they are most likely never gonna meet are driving them away...it just all seems pointless to me...

  The rating down thing is bad, yes but... those trolls have no life and probably can't write shit. Those people shouldn't leave just because of that. I mean... you can become a real author and have a published book and when that does happen... hehehe. Just laugh in those trolls faces.
  
  I used to be pretty pissed off when my stuff got rated down but I learned to deal with. People don't like the story... big deal. At least I can write.
