I don't know why I decided to put this particular chapter under horror but that is what came to mind when this happened to me.
Basically, my mum is very umm... lets say cares a lot about me and my siblings personal life (maybe a bit nosy) and so as she knows me so well she was asking if my period had come yet since mine is normally at the start of the month (TOO MUCH INFO BECCA SHUT UP AND GET TO THE POINT). Ok so because my period is late my mum thinks I'm pregnant...
I have a boyfriend. We have been going out for a few months. We've kissed. But we have never gone anywhere near the point of having sex. Not even close. But my mum doesn't seem to trust me enough because I'm 15 even though I know that 1. it is illegal to have sex at my age 2. I don't want to have sex so young and 3. I'M NOT A SLUT!
My mum didn't say flat out "YOUR PERIOD IS LATE YOU'VE OBVIOUSLY HAD SEX AND NOW YOU'RE PREGNANT" but after I told her my period hadn't some yet she asked if me and my boyfriend had done anything yet and every time she says things like that I always tell her that I'm too young, I don't want to make a mistake like that and I'm not a skank. Just when I was leaving the room she said
"You know what horrible things happen to girls your age."
Yeah they get pissed every night, go out dressed in crop tops and slut skirts, give every guy in our year blow jobs and more, get pregnant and basically get known as a slut for the rest of their lives. But when I spend my entire life stuck in my room with my music, my laptop and my writing suddenly I'm the one that is going to throw her life away? When both of my sisters were my age they both went to parties all the time and got drunk. I've lost count the number of boyfriends they've had combined. But I've never done anything like that and don't plan to so young.
Yeah basically my mum accused me of having unprotected, under aged sex. Great. I thought my mum trusted me more than that, but apparently not.
