I Fell In Love With A Vampire
0 ReviewsAs the two Way brothers look for the last member of there band they find a man who they both accidentally fall in love with. What will happen though when he reveals his secret?
Chapter 1;
Gerard’s P.O.V;
God how many more is there? I’d been here stuck in this hall that stinks of sweat for about four hours now. How long does it take to find someone good to be in the band? Just someone who could play the guitar and sing. Is that too much to ask for?
“Hi, my name’s James and I would like to be in your new band because I need some extra money!”
“NEXT!” Mikey shouted.
He sat next to me in his blue denim jeans and ‘joy divison’ t-shirt. His brown hair fell over his glasses. He wore black trainers. Pretty dull colours but that’s a bit pot calling the kettle black. I was next to him in my black skinny jeans, black trainers and dark red shirt. I sat playing with my thumbs, bored to the max. I wanted to go home, I didn’t really like to socialise.
I waited for someone good to come along to join the band. We already had one member on board, his name is ‘Ray Toro’. He was brilliant. He was one of the first people to audition. He was great at playing the guitar and he was a awesome singer and my god did he have cool hair or what? I just felt like we needed another member to complete the band, no bands really have three members epically if two are brothers... The band probably wasn’t going to be that big. I mean we haven’t properly come up with a name yet. I thought ‘My Chemical Romance’ sounded cool but Mikey didn’t really like the idea.
The next man came onto the stage. I didn’t really care much about doing auditions but Mikey told me that I had to. I felt like his was my mother. The man was plump and had dark blue hair (dyed of course). He wore a superman t-shirt and some grey trousers. He looked like someone you would see behind the desk at your favourite comic book store.
“My name’s Mike and I would like to be in your band cause it’s like my dream!” He said beaming showing us about all of his fillings. I smiled back, trying to be polite.
“Could you sing the song that was provided?” Mikey asked.
The song provided was something we had put together called ‘Headfirst For Halos’. When I say we, I came up with most of it and Mikey just sat correcting my spelling and grammar.
I didn’t like to speak to the people auditioning. I was a bit shy like that, I just felt that it was rather un-comfortable to be talking to strangers who were begging us to be in our band. What about if they got in and then didn’t like us? Or the band failed?
Mike started to sing. He was terrible. I giggled a little under my breath trying to hide my face. I had gone bright red and started to cry a little. Mikey looked at me with his evil eyes and I automatically stopped.
“NEXT!” Mikey shouted before he could sing and more. Mike walked off the stage sulking. I tried not to laugh.
“God, will we ever find anyone?” Mikey muttered under his breath.
“Maybe it’s for the best, we can’t have Mikey and Mike in the same band.” I laughed.
Mikey on the other hand didn’t find it that funny. He was being rather serious today, not like his usual self. Well, he’s usually the more serious one out of the both of us. I prefer to relax and take things easy but he’s the complete opposite. He’s not usually this serious though.
“FINAL PERSON!” A fat man from behind the curtain shouted at us.
“THEN YOU CAN GET LOST!”
Yeah, we only paid for about a hour using the hall and like I said before we’d been in here for about four hours.
The last person came out. I quickly paid attention. I was suddenly attracted to him. He had jet black hair curled slightly at the front but completely straight at the back. He was covered in tattoos and was slightly shorter that average. He was wearing black eyeliner, I liked that. He was wearing one black earring. He was biting his lip, I could tell he was a bit nervous.
“Hi my name’s Frank Iero!”
His voice was beautiful. My heart started to race.
“So you play guitar?” I asked.
It was the first person who auditioned that I had spoke to. Mikey gave me a dirty look.
“Yeah, rhythm!” Frank smiled.
“Could you sing part of the song provided?” Mikey said before I could.
“Sure!”
He started to sing. His voice was beautiful. He took over me, I stared into his eyes nearly losing myself in them. Mikey looked at me and back at Frank.
“You were brilliant!” I said smiling. “I think we have finally found our last member!”
“Oh god, really?” He said shocked.
I don’t think he actually knew how good he was.
“Yes, well me too! I thought you were breathtaking!”
It was then I worked out that Mikey was in love with him too.
“So what do I do now?” Frank asked beaming.
“Well if you want to meet us tomorrow at the Top Tree Café then we can discuss this over a cup of coffee?” I said looking into his eyes.
“Sure that’s fine shall we say around 9am?” He asked.
“Yeah, that’s great!” Mikey said.
“I’ll see you guys tomorrow, then!” He said walking off stage.
Mikey looked at me with a evil glare.
“Gerard, he’s mine.”
