They're on the Wall. DID YOU BELT OUT LOVESICK HYMNS? DID YOU KISS THE NIGHT OUTTA YOUR HEAD? DID YOU PRAY FOR THE OTHER MAN DEAD? DID YOU BET ON THE CAPTAIN'S WHIMS?

This is amazing. Oh my gosh.
I just, I can't.
So fucking amazing, like. Oh my gosh.
Holy shit tacos.
Author's responseWow, holy shit tacos?!? It must really be good then!!!
THANK YOU DUDE. It's not really all that, I mean, it's okay.
You and Mir have like, been extremely welcoming and awesome while I'm trying out writing for a while.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
- I just find it really interesting that this is all between a gun and a butterfly. (Heyyy you mentioned Heliconius Sapho before, in another poem) :)
I don't even understand this. It's really beautiful somehow, and very strange.
What can I say, really? Ah gosh, it's just... I really love it.
Author's responseHahah, well. When I was writing this, it was kind of like a little hint of something I think is obvious. It's just like you'd think that the butterfly would be weak and delicate and fragile, but it's really the gun who's afraid to die.
And also, they're not really a gun and a butterfly. I was thinking that it was just an arguement going on in a soldier's head...you know, that it's only himself vs. himself.
Nice catch on. :P Butterflies are boss.
BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! Mir, you're really too good to me.
