The Kidnapping (Pikey ONE SHOT)
3 ReviewsPete gets Gerard to help him with his plans to 'kidnap' Mikey for his birthday.
"Okay. Let me get this straight," Gerard says, pinching the bridge of his nose. His eyes are scrunched up a little. "You," he points at Pete, only one eye open now, "want to 'kidnap' my brother, our bassist," he pauses for dramatic effect, "and you refuse to give me any more details. Do I have everything?"
"For his birthday," Pete nods excitedly. He is grinning like a chesire cat. How is this Gerard's life? Seriously.
Gerard buries his face in his hands. He needs coffee. Everyone always thinks that Frank Iero is the most tiring person in Gerard's life. Yeah, right. Those people probably tend to forget that Mikey and Pete are, like, joined at the hip. Gerard can't even quite figure out why Mikey enjoys being friends with Pete half of the time. He doesn't voice that, though, because he truly is the best older brother in the entire world.
"Please?" Pete looks so hopeful. Damn it! Why does it have to be so damn hard to say no to Pete Wentz?
Gerard groans, making a show of rolling his neck and shoulders. He really, really needs some good, strong coffee. "And how, exactly, do I fit into your plan, again?"
Pete beams. Gerard is so, so very screwed. He sighs in defeat.
Before Gerard even has enough time to properly register what is happening, he agrees to alert Pete with a text the second everyone is asleep the night before Mikey's birthday, because "It would probably end up technically being on his birthday, anyway. I know you Ways hardly ever turn in anywhere before midnight." He also surrenders the password to the lock on their tour bus. Pete swears on the life of his bass that he only intends on using it for good, not evil. Gerard considers changing it after Mikey's birthday anyway, but he probably won't.
Gerard has the brightest smile on his face when Pete gives him a way too tight hug to thank him. Yeah, okay. Pete grows on people. Gerard figures he might as well embrace it.

Mikey is startled awake by a figure in his bunk. He'll probably deny the fact that it made him jump a little for the rest of his life, though. The figure has a hand over Mikey's mouth, just in case Mikey screams. Mikey doesn't.
As soon as Mikey notices that the figure is, in fact, Pete Wentz, he relaxes considerably.
Pete removes his hand from Mikey's mouth. They're smiling at each other. "Hey," Mikey whispers, because the guys probably don't want to be woken up. "Hey. Happy Birthday, Mikeyway," Pete grins. He leans down and gives Mikey a gentle kiss.
Mikey's eyes are a little wide for all of a second, before he closes them. He figures he might as well enjoy this, so he flings his arms lazily around Pete's neck, responding to Pete's soft, soft lips.
The kissing is so very, extremely unbelievably goodgoodgood. Mikey's brain vaguely registers all the questions that should probably be asked, and that this may not, actually, be the best idea ever, but he is so lost in the amazing kiss, that he can't really bring himself to care. If they end up just remaining friends, who just so happen to have made out, Mikey is not too worried. He knows that they'll figure things out.
Pete brings the kiss to an end, but it's okay, because he's smiling. The smile is even reaching his eyes. "So, I'm kidnapping you now," he whispers.

Gerard raises one eyebrow at Mikey when he returns the following evening. He hides his annoyance at the fact that Pete kept Mikey away from them for most of his birthday (because he is seriously not going to be selfish), and he also hides his relief at the fact that Mikey has returned seemingly unharmed. He didn't really think Mikey would be in danger, anyway.
His eyebrow is raised, however, at the bruise in Mikey's neck, and the dopey look on Mikey's face.
Mikey flips him off, but he's smiling happily. And, yeah, that is totally a blush. Gerard grins. He had a sneaky suspicion that Mikey would someday end up being with Pete Wentz. Better Mikey than him, though...
"So, I'm assuming it's official now?" Gerard aims for casual, even though he's really happy for his brother.
Mikey rolls his eyes. "Sorry, Gee. Sweet Little Dudes never kiss and tell." The dirty smirk he sends Gerard says enough, though. Gerard smirks back.
"Just know this, Mikey. If your boyfriend screws this up, I'll kill him," Gerard says, and, before Mikey can say anything, he adds: "Or I can get Bob to do it." Mikey rolls his eyes again. He does it a lot.
"By the way, your hickey is showing, Sweet Little Dude."
