Father Father, Tell Me Where Are You Now?

Daddy, Daddy do you remember me?
That flock of brown hair?
Daddy, Daddy do you remember?
I was the one that was always there.

Daddy, Daddy why did you leave me?
Daddy, weren't you able to see,
That I loved you and cared for you?
And that I didn't want you to leave?

Daddy, Daddy I'm waiting for you.
To come back and see me again.
I miss you, Daddy, I want you back.
You left me, Daddy, when I loved you.

I waited all my life, for my Daddy to come back.
He never did, and now I'm sad.
You say he will, but I know he won't.
He's forgotten about me.

Daddy, Daddy, I still love you.
I want you back.
Why did you leave, Daddy?
Please tell me.

Was it something I did?
To make you mad, and angry?
Did I make a mistake?
I need to know, Daddy.

Daddy, you aren't coming back, are you?
You've moved on, and forgotten.
About the girl with the brown hair, and the green eyes.
Your little girl, who dealt with the lies.

Daddy, can you hear me?
Daddy, are you near?
Because if you are, you need to know.
That you should never have let go.

Daddy, I need you.
Daddy, I cry.
Daddy, I need you back.
Daddy, this is goodbye.

This is real guys.
You know that story I told you, about my Dad leaving me?
Yeah, that is what this poem is about.
The title, came from A Trophy Father's Trophy Son by SWS.
It is a very moving song, and it is one of my favourites.
My Dad may have left, but you guys will never leave, right?
