5Ambiance
Chasing down the alley way,
Afraid? Honey, you should be,
Cat got your tongue?
Baby, abuse me, misuse me.

Taste venom on your chapped lips,
Nothing here that I can’t fix,
Fall to the floor, young dove, die,
I don’t care, I don’t, you see,
The dusk to dawn,
Who’s next in line?
No one, the wind calls,
Tear me down.

Cyanide sunset, take me away,
Put a gun to my head, fire, go on,
What makes you think I’m scared? I’m not,
I am dead inside, so empty, so emotionless,
I blame it on the drugs I fired into my body, again and again,
This dark sin was written,
You told me to burn the book, but I didn’t,
I burnt myself instead, then cut myself open,
The blood poured from parted flesh,
Drip. Drop. Drip.
I laughed like a mechanical toy,
A wind up, a joke, provoked,
Evoked. But yet I’m not what I seem,
Who do I claim to be? I wear
This mask of despair, don’t you see?
Flashes of silver, shining red,
I laugh, like a clown,
I laugh, once again,
And nobody notices how fake it is.

Back at the alleyway, you stand with a smile,
I push you back, but physics, defied,
We stumble forward, tumble over,
I hear your scream, I see the blood,
I start to shake, where am I?

Someone claimed to know me,
Sugar, I'm a mystery.

I wanted more that I can have,
I wanted all that I won’t get,
I wanted perfection, a cure for insanity,
But all I get are pills and shots to fix me,
They don’t help. I pull the blade out, drag it down,
Push it down, I fall down.
