can i have a deadbeat on the rocks
and a mix of juvenile delinquent on the side
what about a misfit for the desert
and a punk for later

we'll end up in the hospital
or even in jail
could be a high paid job

we all go haywire at some point in our time
we live the worst
end up in confusion

so hungry for the money
hung ourselves for the fame
we lost ourselves
so needy to be the best
we've messed up

somewhere along the way
there was a bump in the road
and error in the message
we've become so complicated

we judge each other
by our appearance
whether it be fat or skinny
ugly or beautiful
pierced or not
tattooed or not
none of this matters
when love has come into the picture
but hates makes it fade away

i'm paralyzed with fear
and blinded by the heavens
some better off than other
and some even worse than the worse
blinded by the future
thats ahead of me in the real world

once you get out of high school
its not a joke anymore
