It's 4 am so I'm still writing obviously.

The curtain moves but the window is closed.
The floorboards creak but no feet are there to step on them.
Something taps at the window but no branches reach it.
A door slams shut but nobody is behind it.

A child's bedroom during the day
Majorly constrasts it in the night.
For you won't find a snarling creature
Joining your son as he draws plays with his toys.

During the day your daughter
Invites all to her tea parties.
But while she sleeps the dolls awaken
To have a party of their own.

Tell your child there's nothing to fear.
No skeletons hide in their wardrobes.
No witches fly in to snatch them from their beds.
No demons around to devour a soul or two.

But the children know the truth.
While the adults believe it to be nightmares
Ghosts and ghouls terrify the little boys and girls.
And they can't wake up to scream for help.

A/N I don't know what this is but it's after 4 am I'm meeting friends at around 12 but I decide to keep writing because I'm stupid and want to do something.
