Another good chapter as usual.
Love you explanation of why Mito is portrayed as reserved as opposed to the usual uzumaki boisterousness.
I am really looking forward to an uzumaki gang-bang....you know Karin, Mito, Kushina and Naruto all going at it....hot.
Keep up the good work.

I was wondering how you were going to go about the establishment of Mito as a flesh-and-blood human being without Kushina's (and by extension, Naruto's) direct intervention. Then, you made out Mito to be a complete badass, not only in taijutsu (surprising), but in Sealing Techniques (no surprise there), to the point where she herself brought about her transition from a mere Edo Tensei summon to a living, breathing human being once more. Great work on that one.
The backstory you gave Mito was another great aspect, especially how you detailed the reason behind her acting, including the prim and proper behaviour she exhibited. Looks like you got in some good jabs at the Nidaime in this chapter, first with the Edo Tensei, and then with the borderline imprisonment of Mito. When she basically attained freedom upon her revival, I thought she was about to bed some schmuck like Kuukaku did, but luckily we were all saved from having to read such things, eh? Lol.
The Anko thing is starting to look bleak, but if Naruto manages to reconcile with her, then it'll look like nothing is out of his reach. The upside to this is that he finally realizes that he can't remain passive when it comes to his many lovers, especially when being assertive could prevent unnecessary problems like the brewing tension between himself and Anko from becoming distractions. I also liked how Naruto came to the conclusion that he mistakenly approached the situation with Anko similarly to how he handled Ino.
I'm glad Naruto is starting to realize that his actions affect the light in which his lovers view him; although it is understandable that he defers to Tsunade on occasion, what with her being Hokage and all, I feel he does it so often that his other lovers may take that as his being submissive, in a sense. As was mentioned in the story, his seducing Tsunade so early on led to him using her as a crutch, and while that's not a bad thing, he appears to have been overly reliant on her.
I guess that could be perceived as intentional on your part, since he is by no means perfect, but his newfound resolve to put his foot down as a demonstration of his dominance should also be applied to Tsunade, in my opinion, in order to curtail her when she adopts an authoritative tone when in the presence of him and the rest of the Harem. This is because in private, she is not viewed as the Hokage, she is viewed as just another woman whom Naruto happens to have charmed.
Thanks for the update.Eroninja

I like the character of Mito, and the back story you gave her really helped with developing that character.
The only thing that as me puzzled is how Mito was able enter the 6-tailed mode. I'm asking because in the manga Tobi had to remove the tailed beasts from the Gedo Mazo and implant them into the former jinchuriki in order for them to have the power of the bijuu.
But other than that a really good chapter as always.Eroninja

I am a little concerned about the concept of Anko leaving the harem. Mostly due to the fact that out of all the individuals in the narutoverse, one of the only people who understands her pain is Naruto. Not to mention, after reading the lines of Anko wanting 'kinkier' things to occur, I looked back and I don't recall her ever making requests to Naruto about that. I mean, I'm pretty sure he would do it to please his lovers if he was asked about it. Not to mention that if you think about it, this concept seems to have come out of left field, there was no build up to the idea of Anko wanting more kinky sex, and there also wasn't any lingering doubts in her thinking that she might want to explore further into the concept of intimacy.
If she asked Naruto about this concept I'm pretty sure he would consider it since he has pretty much done whatever he can to maintain his lovers.
I am a little sad that Guren is apparently gone, she was one of my favorite filler characters to be honest...
Anyway, I still say that it seems a little rushed for Anko to have this sudden change. I am also a little curious as to what brought up this sudden change. I can understand her wanting to explore, but the thing is shouldn't there have a been a scene or more showing her wanting to find out more about intimacy? Also, it seems a little odd that she wants to leave the group considering that Naruto honestly seem to be the only individual who has given her a legitimate chance into his heart.
It just feels slightly rushed is all, and it doesn't feel natural when it comes to her character... It does in some context, like the thought of going further, but she hasn't really spoken to Naruto about it going further... Unless maybe Hinata is going to try and talk to Anko about this and see what is going on and find out about this and find a ay to remedy it; mostly because I don't think Hinata would want to see Naruto go back down into a depressed state of mind.
I will send more of a detailed review when I am actually able to get a little rest, because right now I am really tired.Eroninja

sighs I'm sorry, but Anko's being a stupid bitch. I mean, she has a man who's trying to make her happy, who's replacing the loneliness of her life, and she's going to cause problems just because he won't get into being submissive in BDSM?
That's just being selfish and stupid, and if she doesn't get her head out of her ass soon, I'm going to be pissed at you for making me hate one of my favorite female characters, after Hinata, Tayuya, and Kushina.
Otherwise, this was a great chapter.Eroninja

Well, it looks like Naruto's reservations toward incest are lessening quickly, which might be good news for Kushina. I'm guessing she'll be one of the '???' chapters you've planned in the lastest update for planned chapters.
I really like what you did with Mito, making her the typical fun-loving Uzumaki and allowing her to let her hair down after holding back for so long. I'm hoping that Mito will meet Kiyomi and Kushina soon. On a side note, I just had an interesting image of her being ganged up by all the Biju in bed, with the tailed beasts having their way with Mito as pleasurable revenge for her involvement in sealing them ^_^.
I am a tad more ambivalent than others about the Anko issue. While I'd be sad if she left the harem (though that doesn't mean she'd cut bridges with Naruto as they'd probably remain friends), it may be beneficial in order to further Naruto's increasing maturity. One of his lines in the manga, the 'I don't want to cut bonds with others and I don't want others to cut bonds with me' one, annoyed me since it was a display of both immaturity and selfishness. It shows that the canon Naruto only sees his side of things and does not truly care about what other people want - as such, he'd rather force people to stay instead of letting them go if they wish. Therefore, trying to regain Anko's favour when she wants out would clash with the new Naruto you've been building. I'm not saying he shouldn't try, but if it doesn't work, he should face the truth and call it quits. In the end, it actually depends on how serious Anko is, and not on how hard Naruto will try.
A minor problem with the ever-expanding harem is that we lose sight of some characters for too long. You do give us glimpses sometimes, like the scene with Karin in Suna last time, but it looks like even you are losing track of everyone. The biggest example is Kin - even though she's not in the harem, we have no idea what she been doing. Others things I can think of, how Naruko is adjusting in Konoha, how Koyuki is developing Spring to help Naruto's ambitions, or Hinata's spreading influence within her clan. Maybe you should shift your limelight series to show us more of what's going on, instead of focusing on one character everytime.Author's response
Thanks for the review and comments. I tend to agree with you about the cutting of ties simply because in order to maintain a bond you need both parties to be interested in doing it. Kind of like with Sasuke and him. No matter how much Naruto wishes to maintain that tie if Sasuke isn't interested then it still can be said to have been cut.
As far as the losing people of the Harem goes well that is something I have to disagree with. It isn't that they are lost just their parts of the story aren't necessary to move the main story forward. But a few of the characters you mentioned will be stepping up in the main story soon. While it would be great to spend time on every character that would make these chapters over a 100,000 words long. Sometimes you have to pick and choose who to focus on and certain characters lend themselves to that better than others.Eroninja

Nice Chapter.
I really like how you showed Mito and Tobiramas charactere.
I have a few questions about your Story.
1.Is Suigetsu dead? It looked a bit that way. If not you could make way into Kiri-gakure by having him handed over to them. (He is a missing-nin from there or not?)
2.Can you make Jugo one of the good guys? It would be sad if he dies as Sasukes pawn.
3.Can you make a Haku lime-light after the Tsunami chapter? It really would interest me.
If you want you can send me a PM on fanfiction.net.
My Account-Name is Zweig.Author's response
Thanks for the review.
1. No, Suigetsu is alive. Before he could reform and escape he was captured. Haku escorted him to the Leaf Maximum Security Prison.
2. I just can't see Juugo abandoning Sasuke. With him being his only connection to Kimimaro and all.
3. Actually the next chapter after Tsunami's I plan to be Kin.
