Just to let you know, this is partially a continuation of my last story, New Feelings. There will be some references to a vacation in FLorida, so if you want to be totally clued in I suggest you read my other story first. Thanks! Oh and I haven't seen the movie Snakes and Planes so I don't know everything that happens.
Atlanta walked out of American Eagle with the bag in her hand. She'd bought a pair of border shorts and a new T-shirt. She was going to wear it later in the week when they went back to school. The rest of the summer had gone by so fast, especially after the trip to Florida with her friends! She'd been at her parents house for a month, then went and stayed with her boyfriend for a few weeks. She returned with him to the Brownstone dorms and they stayed there for the last two weeks before school started. She now walked out of the store and linked arms with Archie who had been waiting outside for only a few seconds. She and her boyfriend walked all over the mall, looking for yet another store to go shopping at. They found Boathouse and almost immediately walked through the door.
As Atlanta spotted a gorgeous Roxy jacket Archie headed towards the shoes. "What about these?" he asked Atlanta, holding up a pair of black Circas with white laces. She analyzed them and pulled out the same pair, only with black skulls on the white laces this time. "I think these would be much better," she joked. She knew that Archie would never buy anything like that but personally she found them really cool. Maybe she'd pick up a pair like them later. But for now she had her eye on that jacket still and went to look for her size.
Picking up a size small, she brought it over to the cashier. On her way she grabbed a black and white checkered belt. Laying the items on the counter, Odie scanned the items and gave her the price. Ever since his mom had been sick in the hospital, the medical bills had been pretty expensive so Odie had gotten a job. He thought that this way, he'dhave his own money and his mother wouldn't have to worry about buying him anything. "So you got almost everything for school ready?" he asked her as she got out her cash and paid $164. Where she got the money, nobody knew. But what they did know was that she was always loaded. "Well, I have pretty much all of my new tops, but I still need another pair of pants and some shoes. Oh and I also have to buy some accessories. I'm thinking of getting new earrings, maybe ones with skulls or broken hearts or something really... defiant. You?" He laughed and said, "Yeah, I'm almost done. But Atlanta, where are you gonna get all of the money to pay for that stuff? I mean, you just spent over $150 on two items, and now you're thinking of getting more?" She looked mischeviously at Odie and said, "I've never told anyone this and you have to promise to keep it between us." Odie nodded his head to show he was listening and looked ready as ever. "She leaned closer and said, "Secretly, I'm the daughter of Donald Trump." She grinned and took her bags from infront of her. She walked out of the store, yelling at Archie to meet her at the food court.
Odie crossed his arms and said, "That isn't funny Atlanta. Come on, where do you get the cash from? I want some!" But she was already gone and heading down the escalator. He stood shaking his head at their friend who just wouldn't reveal her secret. Then another customer walked up and placed a pair of shoes on the checkout counter. Odie smiled at Archie questioningly as he rang the item in. He walked out of the store with his bag and followed his girlfriend to the food court. He caught up with her after stopping and putting on the new shoes he'd bought. Shoving his other pair in the bag, they walked together and sat down at the nearest empty they could find. He lifted his right foot, revealing the new shoes and his ankle brace. She stared at the shoe and smiled. "That's so sweet Archie." She giggled and kissed him on the lips gently. He had bought the Circa shoes with the skulls on the laces, just for her.
Although he wasn't a big fan of everything that Atlanta liked, such as skulls, he actually had to admit that the laces made the shoes look pretty cool. He liked them and knew he'd wear them a lot. So after they bought their lunches (Archie from A&W, Atlanta from Jimmy the Greek), they were joined by the other couple. Jay came over with Theresa holding his hand, plus numerous bags. They took a seat beside eachother across from the other two and said, "Hey guys. So what're you gonna do now? We're gonna go see a movie. Wanna come?" Archie answered Theresa by saying, "It's not a chick flick, is it?" She smiled at the little joke and he smiled back. Thay were glad that they were friends, even if they didn't get along every second of their lives.
"Hey I heard there's this new movie called Snakes on a Plane. Check it out?" They all agreed on it and went to find Herry now. Odie was working and Neil was getting a facial done so they hunted their other friend down in HMV with his gorfriend. The six now walked to the Famous Players in the mall and bought tickets, food and got seats. The movie soon started and everyone got ready. It was a sort of scary/funny movie and everyone liked it. Theresa and Jay cuddled, while Herry and Linda hald hands on the arm rest. Archie and Atlanta kept sneaking peaks at each other at the same time and smiling. At the jumpy parts, Atlanta would look at Archie and he'd smile, calming her down and making her all giddy. Half way through the movie everybody in the theatre tensed up, preparing because the scene was very suspicious. There were screams heard and laughing because not everyone was as prepared as they'd thought. But five friends jumped because of something else.
On the screen, the snakes and people had disappeared. Now, in it's place, was Cronus. "Cronus," Jay said, shooting up out of his chair. "Calm down Jay. I just thought I'd drop by and say hi. How are you all doing?" That's when Atltna noticed that everyone seemed a little awkward. She looked over and said to Herry, "What's wrong with your girlfriend. She looks kinda, frozen." Herry tuned and saw that she wasn't moving a muscle. Then he tried shaking her, but she didn't move. "Oh don't bother Herry," Cronus said, "Everyone is frozen in time right now, except for you seven." They all stopped when he said seven and remembered Odie and Neil. They were probably thinking 'What the hell is going on?' while everyone stood perfectly still. "Well, getting down to buisness. As you all know, I am the god of time and can send people back into the past. But did you know that I can send people to the future as well? So I thought I'd test out this little power on a certain seven teenage 'heroes'. What do you say?" He smiled wickedly and snapped his fingers. Odie and Neil appeared beside them rubbing their heads. "Hey!" shouted Neil, "I paid a lot of money for that facial and I expect to get my money's worth." Cronus then said, "So you're all going to go into future say, ten years from now. You'll all be 26 and 27 then. Tata."
He snapped his fingers once more and a clock appeared in his hands. Not just any clock though, an alarm clock. "Umm... what are you gonna do with an alarm clack?" Archie asked, confused. He just laughed and set the clock. "I'm setting it now. Once it goes off, everything returns to normal. But you're ten years into the future. Then once I set it again and it goes off, you return. When you do, I'd be glad to show you what I did to the world. There'll be some drastic changes dobe, I assure you." Just then the sound of a clock was heard and they felt the earth melting away. Slowly, everything started again and Herry saw Linda turn to him. She was looking at him and saying, "Herry? Herry what's going on? What's happening to you?" "He just shouted back, "Linda! I'll be back!"
Then they were all gone and faded, into the fabrics of time and being whisked away to the year 2016. The flew through space, seeing the years of their lives pass by. It started when they were about two years old, then six, then ten, then thirteen, then to their present age. Time stood still for a few seconds longer at that time but was quickly gone when they landed with a thud on the ground. All around them was a giant empty space that seemed to be an abandoned building. It was huge and they walked around for a few minutes. After going through an old and partly standing door, they realized where they were. They were standing in the mall, ten years from now!
(A/N) The stores and places are all based on the mall near my house so that's where the stores are from. anyway, ill update soon and hope you enjoyed the first chapter!
