The eight friends didn't know where to go next, so they pulled over at a nearby restaurant to talk things over. "What the heck are we gonna do?" Herry asked as he slammed his door shut and they went to sit on the patio outside of the restaurant. "I don't know," said Jay, "But we can't go back to the house, since we're there." Then Theresa remembered something very important. "What about the rest of the kids? Ashley and Rickie are still ar Archie's and Atlanta's house. And then there's Sarah, Taya, and Jessie. What are we going to do about them?" "And don't forget about Sophie," said Odie, "What happened to her?" They all thought about whether she had been hypnotised too, or if she was just being left out of it. Then Tania spoke up. "I remember hearing them talking about that I think. They said something like Herry wouldn'y have to get Sophie when he got home since she wasn't a threat and wouldn't be involved. And they didn't have to worry aboiut Neil's wife either, Linda, because she was back in California with their kids. So I don't think that either of them is in trouble."
Herry's ears perked up at the name of Linda. He'd been thinking so much about being married to Sophie, he'd forgotten about her. The others seemed to be thinknig the same thing. "Are you talking about Herry's girlfriend Linda? Or just some random Linda?" asked Neil who was now very curious. It had been him, after all, who'd introduced the two. "I don't know but I've heard a little about her in the news and stuff. She became famous too, and they got mmarried. Her name was like Linda... Linda... Isadora I think." Herry glared at Neil and said, "That's her alright." Neil had stolen his girlfriend, and married her! But then he thought of Sophie again and realized that she'd be worth it. "Come on guys let's get back on track here. We've got eight hypnotized warriors who've saved the world from evil various times, running around under the control of a mad evil god," Jay said. "Well this shouldn't be too hard to stay focuseed," mumbled Archie.
They brainstormed for about half an hour, but each idea was a failure. They couldn't come up with a plan. "Well I know where we could stay," said Tania. Everyone's eyes turned to her and they waited eagerly for her to mention some nice house where she had friends living, or something like that. "We'll go to the mall," she said, "Don't worry it'll be fine. I stayed there with my friends all the time. We would have camp outs or whatever and eat the food from the foodcourt. It's still good. I ate it all the time and I've never been sick." "Umm, Tania. That's because you're immune to all sicknesses. Not because it's still good. You and me could eat it, but the others would probably get really sick. But it's safe to stay at that mall?" Archie asked. She nodded her head and they went back to the truck.
After the quiet drive there, they got out and went through the same passage that they'd used before. There was now a clear tunnel but they couldn't do that. It would be too easy for the others to know where they were if they checked the mall. So Herry his the future Archie's vehicle and they snuck into the mall. After moving the rocks to the passage and making it seem like it was heavily blocked (but was actually only slightly covered and people could easily get through) they walked to the food court. Archie and Tania grabbed some mini bags of chips, some drinks from the broken fridges, and a couple of other packaged items that they could find. They tried them and it seemed to be okay, so they passed it to the others to give them a sample. But to them it tasted disgusting, so the two were left alone, eating the rotting food.
Next the all went over to the camping store, and searched for supplies they could use like flashlights, sleeping bags, and anything else useful. almost everyone managed to find something to sleep on, except for Neil who refused to lay on the floor. So they got some blankets and junk and made him a fairly good matress, and he was satisfied. Then they looked for some tools and were pleased when a whole box of stuff they could use turned up. They settled in and since it was now about 3:00 in the morning, they all fell asleep pretty quickly.
Atlanta woke up and looked at the watch that Odie had put in the middle of them all. They were sleeping in a big circle, with the watch in the middle. It read 11:12, and she knew that she was the first one up, because nobody else seemed to be moving. "Atlanta! You're up!" Someone shouted her name and she turned to see Tania quietly running towards them. She was grabbing someone's arm, and it was identified as Archie's. "Hi. How long have you two been up?" Tania looked at Archie and said, "Well, I've been up for at least two hours, but I woke him up because it was boring. He's only half awake though, so you can still say he's sleeping." She looked so energetic, even considering the amount of sleep she'd gotten.
"You wanna come look at the stores with us? I found some great places where there's a ton of stuff. I even found some weapons you guys can use to fight. And I found you this." She released Archie's arm and he sagged down a bit. Yup, he was still sleeping. She returned with a crossbow in her hand, ready to fire and everything. "Tania where'd you get this? We're not going to be fighting anyone!" The others started waking up because of the talking. "But you will be. I saw this really creepy black portal appear like an hour ago. Some guy's head came out, and he said something like, 'Yes, they're here. We'll strike at noon.' His voice was really weird and he looked pretty old. SO you've got about 45 minutes. The others had woken up now and walked over. Tania explained what was going on and the teenagers were fully awake. Even Archie seemed to be cluing in now. "Looks like we've gotta prepare ourselves," Jay said. He pulled out his xiphos and the others stared. "Where'ed you get that from Jay?" asked Theresa. "Oh. I always carry it with me. I've never put it down." Tania nodded her head and explained how she'd seen him holding it herself in her parents' room.
They nodded and followed Tania to where she'd found the weapons. They entered a store called Bass Pro Shop and looked around. It was one of the stores in better condition, so the weapons were pretty easy to find. Jay and Atlanta had their weapons, and Odie, Herry, and Neil didn't really look around. They didn't need or want weapons so it only left Theresa and Archie. Archie found a whip again, but not like the one he used all the time in the past. Theresa also got some nunchucks and Neil was convinced to carry a pocket knife, even thought he refused at first. They readied themselves as the watch read 11:59, and soon turned to 12:00. But nothing came, so they began to relax. "Are you sure he said noon?" asked Odie. "I'm sure. He said 'We'll strike at noon.' and then diappeared."
Just then there was a blast and out of a store appeared seven adults, holding weapons that the teens recognized all too well. Then behind them a man in black appeared, his hands placed neatly behing his back. "Aww, I see your little friend Tania has come to help you out. It doesn't matter though, you are no match for yourselves!" He laughed and laughed for what seemed like sges, until everybody seemed to lower their weapons and start waiting for him to stop. He finished, and saw everyone looking at him. "Well go on, attack!" Meanwhile, Tania said that it was the same man who'd been at the black hole thing, and they all said that it was Cronus. Then the fighting began.
Everyone was up against themselves, but the teens were losing. Slowly, each one of them began to become more and more injured. They realized it was no use using their weapons, so they'd began fighting with nothing but their bare hands. Even Atlanta was losing, and she was now lying on the floor with a bleeding arm and many bruises. Her opponent was about to finish her off with her crossbow that she'd brought, when Atlanta took off her shoe and hurled it at future Atlanta. It nailed her right in the head, and she went flying against the wall, literally. "Yeah, that's right. Don't mess with the feet!" shouted Atlanta. Then future Atlanta steadied herself and picked up the shoe, ready to hurl it back.
But she looked at the shoe and stopped. The redness in her eyes drained and she seemed to be talking to herself. She then fell to the floor, because the memory of the shoe had worn off all of the magic. Atlanta stared in disbelief. Was that all they really needed to do? Give them a nice memory and boom! they were alright again? Boy, Cronus sure was slacking. "No! Get up! You've unhypnotised her! I guess I'll just have to take care of you myself then," he screamed and looked evilly at Atlanta. She got an eery feeling that sent a shiver down her spine, as two scythes appeared in his hands. He came charging at her, and she lifted the crossbow a little to her right. She aimed, and it grazed his shoulder, slowing him down for a few seconds. That was whn she had time to yell, "Archie! throw your shoe at him!" "Are you crazy?" he yelled back, "What's that gonna do?" "It'll break the spell! Just do it!" He aimed his shoe and hurtled it at his foe. He missed and tried with the other shoe, this time knocking him in the head. He looked at the shoe and fainted before Archie's eyes, whip still in hand. Archie grabbed it and looked around.
The others were having a pretty fair battle, (except for Neil who was actually only talking to future Neil about a great hair salon that would be invented in the year 2014) but Atlanta was battling Cronus by herself, and losing. He released the whip and managed to pull his arm back, making him drop one of his scythes. He growled and threw the other one at Archie, which deeply cut his leg right above his wonky ankle. He dropped to the ground in pain, as Cronus laughed. But right then he felt a searing pain in his stomach, as a bow shot right at him. He dropped to the floor just as Archie had, but made a quick recovery just as another bow zoomed past his head. He decided that this was not working out, and his weakness had been discovered. So as another bow was shot, he walked thruogh his portal.
But although the bow didn't hit Cronus, it had hit the edge of his portal, tearing it slightly and leaving a piece of it behind. It fell to the floor, like a piece of paper falling from a desk. Then Atlanta ran to Archie and gelped him up. She tried using the little bit that had come off of the portal to wrap around his wound, but the evil on it seemed to only cause more pain. She took off her soft, black belt and wrapped it around the cut. It was surprisingly warm and soft, but then again Archie had never noticed what her belt was made of. She blushed as her shorts slid down a bit because there was no belt, but Archie didn't seem to notice. Then she turned to Tania who was hiding in the back of a store while they were fighting, and said, "Tania! Come here! I need you to get Archie to the truck, can you?"
She ran out and hepled him limp towards the exit. "Okay," she said. "And one more thing," Atlanta added, "When you get there, can you get Archie to drive to Jay's and Theresa's house and pick up their kids? They should be there. And bring them back here okay?" She nodded and they headed off to the truck. After that, Atlanta rushed over to the movie theatre as fast as she could. It still hurt her slightly, but she knew she could do it. SHe got to the advertisments for the movies, and pulled one off easily. They were all old so the screws and such had come lose. She ran with it to the fight and threw it as far as she could at future Neil, who was secretly taking out a nail filer and getting ready to aim it at Neil. It hit him full force and he was almost squashed under it. "Hey! We were having a great conversation. He was about to tell me where I should always get my waxing done. Thanks a lot!" But he looked back at the person he'd been talking to and saw the nail filer in his hand. "Oh," he said. Then future Neil stood up and looked at the sign. He saw himself and remembered being famous and the good memories he'd had with his wife when they'd cast in the movie 'Counting Your Blessings'. Then he fainted, and Neil stood in shock. Well that was easy. I should do some fighting more often. He checked his nails and went to look at his reflection in a nearby mirror.
Then Atlanta checked the mall door to see if Archie was coming with Tania and the two kids, but they were no where in sight. So she decided to make use of her time and move the three passed out adults to sit somewhere safer. She moved future Neil and herself to rest by a store, and was about to move future Archie when there was a loud scream. Theresa had been hit with the nunchucks across the head and was fighting very hard, but was slowly drifting away. She decided to leave future Archie and checked to see where the two peope who could save them were right now. They still weren't back, and it was very odd how long they were taking. Had Cronus catured them or something?But she had no time to think. Future Theresa was about to take the nunchucks and whack Theresa again, but Atlanta had kicked her in the face before she could do anything.
Theresa gratfully smiled, and Atlanta returned it. Then she told Theresa to go and wait by the door where Archie and Tania should be coming, while she fought future Theresa. She went over and waited, and only a few minutes later a limping Archie cae through holding Jessie. Theresa smiled and Archie walked over to future Theresa. He grabbed her wrist and turned her around. Her firey red eyes stared into his purply- grey ones, and they seemed to be having a staring contest for a moment. Then future Theresa saw Jessie, and fainted. At that same time Jay fainted, as he saw his five year old daughter. They were brought over to the store as well, and future Archie was leaned against the wall too. Then Archie rushed over to help out Herry and Odie. Future Herry was thrown a picture of him with his with and Sarah, and future Odie was given his laptop. They both fainted and were moved to the same spot where the others were, and sat there. They others all walked over to the truck with Jessie, Taya, and Tania. They were about to get in when Atlanta felt the piece of the portal move in her hand. She wondered how, but then saw some writing on it. It read,
You better say your final goodbyes now. The seven of you will be going on a little trip to the past, ten years ago.

As they read it everyone exchanged sorry glances that they couldn't talk to themselves one last time. But they had no choice, so they said goodbye to Jessie and Taya and most of all, Tania. "Thanks for everything. You were a big help." "If it weren't for you we'd all be dead right now." "Sorry we have to go so soon. Tell everyone we said bye." They all told her their final goodbyes, and stood waiting for the others to finish. Archie and Atlanta were the last to say goodbye, and were so sad to have to go. Atlanta talked to her about seeing her again one day, and she'd tell her all about the adventures they'd had. They hugged and said goodbye and Archie then went to talk to her. "Umm, hey. Thanks for everything Tania. You rock." She gave him a big hug and he hugged her back. But then he said to her as he pulled out the same notebook from his pocket as before, "I want you to have this. It's all of my poetry from, whenever." The others looked at her to see if she'd accept it, and she did. "Thanks Archie. I'll keep this forever. But I have something for you too. She pulled out a small piece of paper from her jean pocket, and handed it to him. It was a poem she wrote all by herslf. "Can I read it?" he asked. She looked uncertain but he said, "C'mon. You read mine so it's only fair I get to read yours." She smiled and nodded as he began to read. "One of A Kind. By Tania Owen."
There's two people, that I met.
Their names were Atlanta Theron and Archie Owen.
They traveled through time, from ten years ago.
They actually were people that I know.
They were my parents, but now they're only teens.
This age they because they travelled through time's seems.
They met themselves, from the time right now.
They then met me and seemed very proud.
I was there daughter, and I was glad to see them.
But I don't know if they'll leave or when.
But I do know one thing, that I know in my mind.
I've met two wonderful people that are one of a kind.
He finished the poem and gave her a hug again. "That's a great poem. Maybe you'll become a professional one day." The others giggled at how sweet he was being. Not because it was funny, but because it was unusual and they all liked it. Then a portal appeared out of no where, clearly with a large piece of it missing. The two said goodbye just before Cronus used his magic to send them back to their own time. They felt the same sensation as when they were sent to the future, only the images of themselves were going backwards.
They landed in the same spot as where they just were, but now recognized everything. The mall was no longer abandoned, but brand new. Then Herry saw Linda running towards him. "Herry! What happened! It's been days now and I've been looking for you everywhere! The police are searching the whole city and you look awaful! What happened?" They just laughed and he said to her, "I'll tell you all about it later, okay?" Let's go get a coffee." So they all went into the mall entrance which they'd used so many times, and sat at a table. They talked of their adventures, as Archie and Atlanta re-read and re-read the poem again and again. Jay and Theresa snuggled and talked quietly, while Odie listened to Herry's and Linda's conversation. For someone who knew he was going to break up with her, he certainly was having a great time with her. Neil was drinknig his fruit smoothie and secretly eyeing Linda, looking for any sign that she was interested in him. They were all happy to be back in their own time. And were so relieved that it was over for now. Cronus seemed to unserstand that they had the advantage with the time travel, and they were all looking forward to fighting him in the present. They all looked forward to fighting him? They must be crazy. But no, they weren't- they were just happy.

Theresa gratfully smiled, and Atlanta returned it. Then she told Theresa to go and wait by the door where Archie and Tania should be coming, while she fought future Theresa. She went over and waited, and only a few minutes later a limping Archie cae through holding Jessie. Theresa smiled and Archie walked over to future Theresa. He grabbed her wrist and turned her around. Her firey red eyes stared into his purply- grey ones, and they seemed to be having a staring contest for a moment. Then future Theresa saw Jessie, and fainted. At that same time Jay fainted, as he saw his five year old daughter. They were brought over to the store as well, and future Archie was leaned against the wall too. Then Archie rushed over to help out Herry and Odie. Future Herry was thrown a picture of him with his with and Sarah, and future Odie was given his laptop. They both fainted and were moved to the same spot where the others were, and sat there. They others all walked over to the truck with Jessie, Taya, and Tania. They were about to get in when Atlanta felt the piece of the portal move in her hand. She wondered how, but then saw some writing on it. It read,
You better say your final goodbyes now. The seven of you will be going on a little trip to the past, ten years ago.
Cronus
As they read it everyone exchanged sorry glances that they couldn't talk to themselves one last time. But they had no choice, so they said goodbye to Jessie and Taya and most of all, Tania. "Thanks for everything. You were a big help." "If it weren't for you we'd all be dead right now." "Sorry we have to go so soon. Tell everyone we said bye." They all told her their final goodbyes, and stood waiting for the others to finish. Archie and Atlanta were the last to say goodbye, and were so sad to have to go. Atlanta talked to her about seeing her again one day, and she'd tell her all about the adventures they'd had. They hugged and said goodbye and Archie then went to talk to her. "Umm, hey. Thanks for everything Tania. You rock." She gave him a big hug and he hugged her back. But then he said to her as he pulled out the same notebook from his pocket as before, "I want you to have this. It's all of my poetry from, whenever." The others looked at her to see if she'd accept it, and she did. "Thanks Archie. I'll keep this forever. But I have something for you too. She pulled out a small piece of paper from her jean pocket, and handed it to him. It was a poem she wrote all by herslf. "Can I read it?" he asked. She looked uncertain but he said, "C'mon. You read mine so it's only fair I get to read yours." She smiled and nodded as he began to read. "One of A Kind. By Tania Owen."
There's two people, that I met.
Their names were Atlanta Theron and Archie Owen.
They traveled through time, from ten years ago.
They actually were people that I know.
They were my parents, but now they're only teens.
This age they because they travelled through time's seems.
They met themselves, from the time right now.
They then met me and seemed very proud.
I was there daughter, and I was glad to see them.
But I don't know if they'll leave or when.
But I do know one thing, that I know in my mind.
I've met two wonderful people that are one of a kind.
He finished the poem and gave her a hug again. "That's a great poem. Maybe you'll become a professional one day." The others giggled at how sweet he was being. Not because it was funny, but because it was unusual and they all liked it. Then a portal appeared out of no where, clearly with a large piece of it missing. The two said goodbye just before Cronus used his magic to send them back to their own time. They felt the same sensation as when they were sent to the future, only the images of themselves were going backwards.
They landed in the same spot as where they just were, but now recognized everything. The mall was no longer abandoned, but brand new. Then Herry saw Linda running towards him. "Herry! What happened! It's been days now and I've been looking for you everywhere! The police are searching the whole city and you look awaful! What happened?" They just laughed and he said to her, "I'll tell you all about it later, okay?" Let's go get a coffee." So they all went into the mall entrance which they'd used so many times, and sat at a table. They talked of their adventures, as Archie and Atlanta re-read and re-read the poem again and again. Jay and Theresa snuggled and talked quietly, while Odie listened to Herry's and Linda's conversation. For someone who knew he was going to break up with her, he certainly was having a great time with her. Neil was drinknig his fruit smoothie and secretly eyeing Linda, looking for any sign that she was interested in him. They were all happy to be back in their own time. And were so relieved that it was over for now. Cronus seemed to unserstand that they had the advantage with the time travel, and they were all looking forward to fighting him in the present. They all looked forward to fighting him? They must be crazy. But no, they weren't- they were just happy.
