Part I
0 ReviewsThe sweet couple breaks up, will they get back together... and will it stay that way?
She awakes, to see him gone, he decided to move on.
She just stares, wishing he were here, just to know that he is near.
She stands clutching the blankets tight...
Clutching, cuddling, huddling, hurtling, hurting, heating, heaving, leaving.
He's leaving and going off on his own, taking slow strides, reaching for his phone.
He grabs it and leaves, closing the door, he can see her no more.
He tells her I'm thinking of you from dusk 'til dawn...
Thinking, blinking, blowing, knowing, knitting, sitting, sighing, crying.
She's crying, she's alone, as she listens to the phone.
She heard the message, it replays and replays, where were her flaws and frays?
She sits there silently weeping and weeping...
Weeping, keeping, kicking, sickening, saddening, happening, rapping, regretting.
He's regretting, he made a big mistake, him and his soul will she take?
He wants her back now, he wants to be hers, he wants to be warm like being wrapped in wonderful furs.
He crawls on the floor begging and pleading...
Pleading, weeding, willing, spilling, seeping, leaping, living, forgiving.
She forgives him, they join hands, drifting off into different lands.
They make up, and they kiss, it is wondrous perfect bliss.
Abandoning one another they will never...
Abandoning, landing, lying, dying, deceiving, believing, bombing, promising.
It's a promise... but will it last?
To be continued...
P.S. most of my poetry is based on characters from Class of the Titans. They give me my inspiration.
