  Fantastic story! The only canonical friendships are Cassie and Afran, and the Teacher and his Yeerk - there's absolutly no reason why there shouldn't be others. Though, Charlie's reaction seems a little bit too accepting. Maybe that's just me, though - it must have been worked up to and that time has just been jumped.

  This is a pretty interesting story - it'd be ludicrous to think that all the yeerks were ingrained evil - someone has to be Joe Normal. Nice twist for the ending.
