  In your summary, "esk" should be "esque"
  
  Some of the punctuation is off. Investigate the use of semi-colons.
  
  If something is 'needless to say,' don't say it.
  
  The parentheses throw it off sometimes.
  
  It's an interesting tale, though. It would be a lot easier to read if someone went over some of the punctuation, though.
