Atlanta has a another secret (lol, another! all of my stories have her with a secret practically) and she keeps it hidden pretty well. Until someone finds out! What's gonna happen? (Don't wanna giv...
Atlanta stirred restlessly; feeling like something was grabbing her. She tried swatting it away and for a moment it released her, but soon enough it was back, now shaking her mercilessly on her shoulders. She was having a dream; she was being yanked away from Archie. He was calling out to her, "Atlanta! Atlanta!" and was in trouble. She tried to run to him, but the thing grabbing and shaking her shoulders wouldn't let her move. Suddenly her eyes jerked open and she yelled, "Archie!" and felt the grip on her shoulders loosen. "Hey, I didn't know you were awake," said his calm voice. She sat up and looked at him, wearing his recognizable blue hoodie and shorts. But she could tell he hadn't washed up yet and had only thrown on his clothes quickly. His hair was messy and flat, he smelled bad and his shorts were only half way up, showing his blue and red checkered boxers.
She realized that the dream had been from Archie calling her name to wake her up, and he'd been shaking her as well. She smiled at him and noticed him blushing slightly, looking around the room. She tilted her head questioningly, and then remembered what she was wearing. She'd been so tired that last night she'd only removed her clothes and was now wearing her bra and underwear, and the blankets were almost all off her. She pulled them over her quickly and laughed in embarrassment as he continued. "I just came by to get you up. You slept in so c'mon, we're gonna be late!" He turned and was out the door before a question could come out of her mouth. She stood up and closed the door fully, then rushed to her closet to get her clothes on.
She was eager to see what the big secret was. Her green border shorts were pulled on, and her aqua blue shirt was pulled over her head. She pulled up the black and white striped toe socks as high as they'd go, and weaved her favourite black belt through the shorts. Hurriedly, she squeezed out a giant glob of hair gel and styled her messy hair, right after brushing through it quickly. She threw on some black eyeliner and mascara, followed by her brand new white eye shadow. She put on the nearly empty tube of sparkly lip gloss and grabbed a ponytail to slip on her wrist, just in case.
Archie was standing by the doorway, waiting patiently for her. He had in his hand a dark blue soccer bag with the number 14 on it, and she was about to ask him why when he said, "Took you long enough. What were you doing, writing a novel or somethin'?" She smiled sarcastically, with a hint of playfulness on her face. They headed out the door and she raced after him as he grabbed his helmet and hopped on his motorcycle. She was handed a black and green helmet with waves on it and they started off. To where though? Atlanta had no idea. They reached Moonlight Street, and Archie parked his motorcycle in the parking lot nearby. Atlanta got off as well, following him down the street. He stopped just before they got to Sady Crescent, and he asked her to close her eyes.
"Yeah right! I have no clue what you're trying to do Archie, but I think we might need to get you some help," she said with a little smirk. He looked at her with the most innocent face he could muster, and she finally gave in. "How can I say no to someone as cute as you?" she said in a cute voice as she pinched his cheeks lightly and he stepped back, trying to get away. She giggled and closed her eyes as she turned around and was led by Archie's soft but firm grip.
She was dying to open her eyes, and it seemed like the light was teasing her, calling her, almost grabbing her eyelids and jerking them open. But she kept them shut, and they walked for about a minute until he stopped for a second and turned. They headed in a different direction and the sound of a door creaking open caught Atlanta's attention. She was more confused than ever, and when she heard the sounds of more footsteps she wondered what the heck they were doing. Archie stopped and said to her, "We're going up some stairs." Slowly, she raised her foot and moved it around a bit. Her foot hit the first step and she started to climb, feeling the pattern of how far away each step was. "Last step, careful," he said to her again, and she felt the straight floor under her feet again.
She was walking forward again and got a weird sensation that she was being watched. But she decided to ignore it, until a bright light blared into her eyes. She tried shielding her eyes and blocking the light with her hand, but she squinted so much that she couldn't see a thing. Then the lights toned down and Archie said, "Open your eyes." She opened them as the light adjusted, and she stared in awe at the sight before her.
