Her first instinct was to cry, but she thought better of it. Then she thought she would kiss Archie right then and there, but realized that might not be the best idea in the world either. She thought about just thanking him, but had no clue what to say after that. So she stood, and stared. "Umm, Atlanta?" Archie said to her as she stood and made no movement. Then she smiled slightly and the crowd knew that was their cue. The entire audience from the Friday night recital was there, including a few more friendly faces in the front row. Theresa, Jay, Odie, Neil, and Herry all sat in the front row and clapped the hardest, making the auditorium echo. As the claps and cheers became louder she gave up on her reputation and turned around, whispering to Archie, "Thank you," as she cried and kissed him on the lips.

They kissed for a long time as most of the crowd clapped still, but a lot of their friends from dancing made comments, and cheered even louder. Atlanta heard her best friend from the ballet class after her shout out a few comments, and she smiled even more as she kissed him. Then a boy that Archie recognized as Santiago's voice shouted out, "Yeah! Go Charlie!" and he broke away as he started to laugh with Atlanta. "It's Archie!" shouted Atlanta. And there were a lot of murmurs as the crowd still cheered. They stopped laughing eventually and smiling about the fact that everyone still thought Archie's name was Charlie, and then the claps and whoots and applauses slowed, until it was quiet in the room. Atlanta smiled and blushed as a few of her tears were wiped away and she started to cry all over again. {A/N... yes, it's OOC but it's meant to be like that. You know, kinda like a side of the teens that you haven't seen.} She smiled and tried to speak, but was too happy.

Archie had some how made arrangements to have the recital post-ponned, and now everyone was here to start it all over again. He really would do anything for her, and this was a good way to make up for almost killing Atlanta. Then someone in the audience shouted out, "So, you gonna say anything?" There were a few murmurs of "Shut up!" and the voice quieted down. Then Archie placed his hands on her shoulders from behind her and said, "Today would be nice," obviously wanting her to say something. She slapped him lightly and then said, "No, I'm not gonna say anything. This is way to awesome." She stopped crying and calmed down, taking a big breath. Then Archie said, "Okay everyone. Let's get the show on the road!" At least half of the people sitting in the theatre then stood up and walked out, leaving to get finish getting ready for the recital. Archie held up the soccer bag to Atlanta and she looked inside, seeing her ballet costume in it. Then she kissed Archie on the cheek and ran to find the change room.

On her way she heard a soft whimpering coming from somewhere. She had no idea who it was, but then ran to them (being the kind and loving person she is.) She found a girl who looked about her age sitting behind a doorway, crying. "What are you doing?" She asked her, trying to keep the confused tone out of her voice. The girl looked up and her eyes went so wide Atlanta could've sworn they popped out of their sockets. "Oh my god! I am so, so sorry! I swear, I never meant to do that it was a total accident it's just that when I finished-" Atlanta cut her off by shaking her head and saying, "What the hell are you talking about? Sorry for what?" The girl looked like Atlanta was crazy and said, "For opening the door like that. It's just-" But once again, she wasn't able to finish hr sentence. "h! You're the girl who slammed me into the wall! And 'cause Archie was so rude and you got mad- don't worry he gets me really mad all the time, you took it better than I do, he's usually begging for mercy when I finish with him- but yeah sorry. That's okay, I really don't care I'm fine now."

The girl who she'd been informed earlier as Loretta had stopped crying and was smiling like crazy, unable to obtain her happiness in being forgiven. She stood and hugged her saying, "Oh, thanks so much! God, I thought you were gonna sue me or something!" Then she looked at her and her smile faded while she said, "But it's still 'cause of you it happened. Archie was so rude 'cause you're his girlfriend and I didn't know." Atlanta was starting to feel angry and wanted to say, It's not to late to sue you know. But knew she couldn't. So she said, "Listen, sorry I did that but you still gotta perform the thing. Even if Archie was being an asshole to you." Then Loretta smiled faintly and said, "Yeah, I guess so. Thanks though, g'luck." She ran to the separate change room and Atlanta continued to the one next to it. She was greeted with hugs and a ton of girls all talking to her at once. Some were saying how lucky she was to have such a great boyfriend, others asking if she was okay. Some girl even asked for Archie's phone number if they ever broke up. She laughed and just for fun wrote it down, while everyone laughed with her.

Then when the first announcement came on for the beginning of the recital to start and they all stopped what they were doing and tried their best to quickly finish getting ready. Atlanta grabbed her point shoes and ran to the auditorium as quickly as she could. On her way she passed Jay who stopped her. "Oh no you don't! You're not going in there yet," he said to her, eyeing her mischievously. "Yeah, if anyone gets to watch the show, don't you think it should be /me/?" she asked, clearly confused at why he wasn't allowing her to watch the show. "Of course, but you're the guest of honour, you get the best seat in the house." He guided her around to the door connecting to the stage. She was pushed through and the door silently shut as she saw Archie standing behind the stage next to Loretta, shaking nervously and looking into the audience as the primary ballet song started. He searched for Atlanta in the audience and turned when Atlanta whispered his name. "Atlanta! Hey!" he whispered as he went to hug her. They smiled at each other and hugged as out of the corner of her eye Atlanta saw Loretta looking away, a deep and solemn expression on her face.

The music was ending and Archie knew it after hearing the song numerous times. He then kissed Atlanta on the cheek and went to stand in his position, ready to go on stage. He then saw the face of Loretta and said, "Good luck Loretta," as he smiled at her. She returned a small little mumbled, "You too," before Jay went onto the stage. "Okay everyone, now we've had the recital post-poned and I wan to thank everyone for coming. Now since Atlanta's the reason we're all here, she's going to do the honours of coming on here and doing the breaks and stuff. So right now before we get to our second number, here she is." Everyone cheered loudly as Archie came and shoved her onto the stage and she found herself standing alongside Jay. Her throat was dry and she couldn't talk for a moment, until Jay smiled at her encouragingly. She stood and took the microphone from his hand, standing in her ballet costume.

"Thank you, I guess I kinda caused a lot of trouble, thanks to a certain /someone/." She looked at Archie as she said this, making fun of him jokingly as he stared at the floor, a sheepish look on his face. "Anyway, this is gonna be a really awesome show and here's our next dance. The tap duet by Archie and Loretta." The music was ready to start and Atlanta and Jay were exiting the stage. But she was so excited and nervous, Atlanta carelessly tripped with Jay right in front of her. She fell forward and he caught her in his arms, so close that the image of each other went blurry because of how close they were. Then he leaned and kissed her, as she kissed him back. The only sound heard in the theatre was a loud THUD as Jay fell to the ground from Archie's punch.

*hehe, thought it was dun, didn't you! (that's okay, I did too!) anyway, sry I haven't updated since forever. (lol, did it just for you Emily) I was really busy this week too, watching marathons of Napoleon Dynamite, yeah!!! Peace Out
