The Frog

Take this frog off my shoulder
a guide, I need no more
his constant moaning and complaining
is really starting to bore
I had figured he'd be a character
of which I'd be motivated by
but after hearing his tales of sorrow
I just wanted to sit down and cry
For how cruel a person could be to a creature
one so fragile and weak
his past is full of betrayal and unhappiness
his future is sad and bleak
Wait, I have changed my mind about him
bring the poor frog to my home
then we can cry together
'cause it's better than crying alone
