Standing in the rain,
I wait for you,
I am alone now,
And I am cold.

The sky weeps for me;
The trees moan;
The wind whispers and;
The grass calms me.

The thunder beats in
Time with my heart
And aches just as much,
I am alone.

You will be back soon,
I can feel you.
You'll come back to me,
Back to my heart.

Standing in the rain,
I wait for you,
I am alone now,
And I am cold.

All is numb, I feel no pain,
I am alone, and standing in the rain.
