Into the Midnight Sky
1 ReviewsI wrote this a few years ago when I was having a huge fight with an old friend
I lay dying on this rock
While all you do is watch the clock
As I barely breathe in air
About me you no longer care
You do not realize that you are now alone
While you read a book at home
Now that you have lost faith in me
You must take on my destiny
As a tear runs down my face
You start to worry and to pace
As you start to sing our song
You realize from this world I'm gone
I vanished into thin air
When it happened you didn't care
While you sit and begin to cry
I no longer have the choice to live or die
As my soul flies up
Into the midnight sky
