Snow Night

Thrown against the castle door
Cast upon the dungeon floor
Unconscious from the searing pain
Lying under piercing rain
Killing her with every blow
Sending shock from head to toe
Making one more plea for me
Finally to be set free
And one decision comes to mind
A promise to herself she binds
Leaping off an ageless edge
Jumping off the cursed ledge
Suddenly caught by surprise
Thinking one thought as she dies
How quickly the heat gave into the cold.
*She was being held at a castle on a mountain where it was always snowy. She was being beaten, so she decided on suicide. When she jumped into the snow she died slowly and was amazed by how quickly the heat disappeared and the cold came.
