  This is really excellent! You picked a wonderful motif (remember/not remember) to frame this story. This is one of the most effective stories I've seen, that try to encompass several years within the story. Well done!

  As I've already noted in my rating, this must be one of the most insightful and moving Roy-drabble pieces I've ever read. It doesn't focus inordinately on his angst and guilt, but it doesn't ignore them, either. Also, it spawned a Roy-drabble fic of my own, so... thanks. :D Probably my favourite line was the one about Roy wanting to be a fireman, soldier, and ruler of the world. It's funny how he ended up combining all of those dreams into a career. Either that, or "It was your genuis idea to get drunk off your ass and call Iron Blood a sexy bitch?" XP That line haunts me, it does. I have to try SO HARD not to slip it into my own fics. Congrats and good job!
