Like Nothing

He doesn't notice that I'm not there.
No longer can he feel the warmth of my body,
but does he waken? No.
He does not.
I feel like nothing.
I feel as if his subconscious has forgotten me.
My heart aches knowing he can sleep soundly,
without me.
