"You're gonna have to tell him eventually." Spencer said.

Lilee looked up from her book. "What?"

He sighed. "About New York."

"Yeah, I was thinking about telling him in the summer."

"I thought you said you were gonna drop out of this school and go directly there."

Lilee looked back at her book. "Oh, I kinda...forgot."

"You're bluffing." He said. "You should go see him today and tell him. I mean...you have to tell him."

"I hate the fact that you're right."

"And Brendon."

Lilee smashed her head into her book. "Why does it have to be so far away!?" She yelled. "I mean...first my dad, then my boyfriend. And you guys." She smiled.

Spencer hugged her. "Well, you still have vacations." He said.

"Yeah..."

"You can just take off on Halloween." He laughed.

"I argued with my teacher that it should be a national holiday." She said.

Jon walked in and took a seat. "Did you notice there's NOTHING good to do?" He asked.

Lilee looked at him. "Well, studying isn't much but it kills time."

"Okay. Umm...Brendon is starting to get worried about you. He said you've been acting strange around him. Does it have to do with...New York?"

Lilee's eyes bugged out.

Ryan walked in. "So, I hear you're going to New York."

Lilee screamed. "FINE! I'LL TELL HIM!" She yelled. She took a breath. "I have to tell my dad first." She concluded.

Lilee knocked on the door to be greeted by her dad. She ran into his arms.

"Hey." He said.

"Hey." She replied.

He brought her in.

"So, hows Sabrina?" She asked.

"She's good, she's with Chris and Max."

Lilee nodded. She sighed. "I have something that I really need to tell you." She said. "God, you're gonna hate me for this."

"What could possibly be so bad?" He asked.

"It's not bad, it's actually really good. It'll go very well on my permanent record."

"Okay, tell me."

"I applyed for The School of Visual Arts."

"The one that I went to?"

"Yeah. But that's not the part I want to tell you."

"Okay."

"I got accepted."

"In New York?"

"Yeah, and I want to go."

"To New York?"

She nodded. "Yes, dad. In New York."

"You do relize that, that's on the otherside of the states."

"Yeah."

"But you're only in your first semester of College!" He exclaimed.

"Yeah but they support us! I'm 18 years old."

Jared shook his head. "You're gonna be 8 hours away by plane!"

"Dad, I wanna go!"

"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW FAR AWAY THAT IS!"

"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH I WANNA GO!" She cried. "I LOOK UP TO YOU AND THIS IS WHAT YOU GIVE ME!"

"Lilee!"

"THANKS A LOT DAD!" And she ran out.

Sabrina came out. "Jared, are you okay."

He shook his head and walked out but Lilee already left.
******************

"No, she's not here." Brendon said. "...I haven't seen her I'm sorry.....okay....bye."

"Who was that?" Ryan asked.

"Jared, He wanted to know where Lilee was."

"I'll be right back." Jon said headed for the door. Before he could open it Lilee burst threw and ran into Brendon's arms, sobbing.

Everyone looked at her.

'Is she alright?' Jon mouthed.

Brendon shrugged and continued to comfort her.
