I'm keeping the Laura thing elusive on purpose, you didn't miss it. ;) But it will come out. In a bit. ;) It will be sad. But also kinda romantic in the end. At least I hope so.

insightful...does that work for you? it works for me. it'll have to do. although the english language permits for far better and more descriptive words, FicWad presents me with only a handful of options to describe this story.
insightful for two main reasons:
-/What all of us have to realize sooner or later is that you can't expect somebody to just come around and turn everything that's fucked-up and miserable in your life into order./
-/Only, in the course of your life different perspectives open up and you re-write plans you've made earlier. We're allowed to take a different route. You live and you learn./
and this at the end:
The mirror's gone. Wonder when that happened. There's no nail on the wall where the mirror hung. And there's no hole in the wall where the nail used to be. And actually, that doesn't surprise me anymore. now, reading into this action...the mirror symbolizes his selfishness and vanity. it's slowly fading away, or perhaps the removal of the mirror was simply helping him to get over himself. either way, it's a fantastic literary devise and i love it.
you make me melt. just when i think there is no way possible for you to one-up the last chapter, you throw something like this out.Author's response
You hit the nail right on the head. The mirror symbolizes his vanity and self-centeredness. Not really such a covert symbol, come to think of it, eh? ;) Well, reader Crystal always makes writers feel pretty smart. So thanks for that, Strange Spice. :)Channel Hopping

aw. poor pet-uh. hehe. right now i am hyper to the max and currently working on yet another energy drink because i have band practice tonight. i am in a praise and worship band! haha. believe it or not. a christian praise and worship band. me. hehe. i play the bass. and the practices are fucking boring. so i will be hyper and energetic tonight. and it wont be boring.

That's alright. For a long time MxPx ("Christian rock") used to be my fav band and I've been an atheist for about the same amount of time. Who cares, right? ;) And playing the bass always balances everything average out. Bassists are incredibly underrated in this world.

OK, what? If you have something to say Alex just say it, don't vent into your writing and drive me crazy with your exquistiveness and capitivate my heart like some crazy twenty something old fan of Fall Out Boy! Honestly!
Here's the reasons why I loved this chapter.
- The frown on her face indicates that she doesn't really understand the words and sentences that her eyes capture.
- I loved that, it was right up my street in the descriptive field....
- He shimmies his legs onto the bed and rests his back against the headboard, - are ya sure you didn't just wanna put "Indian Style" in there....cos I'm thinking you did....
- "I know... How could I forget about Cody and his foot fetish?" - what's wrong with a foor fetish??
- They kiss. - I need more than that....c'mon.
- Your existance doesn't turn into something divine once you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend. - the truth is so simple.
Caren was a lot stronger than I'll ever be. And maybe that's why she stuck with me for so long. - I liked this line a lot.
- Yet, I have the feeling that I took a lot more than I gave. - Ok so Pete's finally getting it....
- Only, in the course of your life different perspectives open up and you re-write plans you've made earlier. We're allowed to take a different route - Amen to that.
- To this day, glued to my inner eye. Preserved against time and all other influences from the world outside. - ok now you're just rubbing it in, stop being so damn great.

I just don't know what to day except for the fact that you just had to go and take ficwad to another level. How the hell am I supposed to keep up??
Again, this chapter was absolutely fabulous. I have to go take some English courses now, so my writing doesn't look so sucky next to yours.

I wanna give you a rating point soooo bad, but I still don't have any. I'm getting the feeling that Laura died, but I'm still not sure.
