Dudley Dursley thinks he is an ordinary wizard - until he is rescued by a midget of a man, enrols at Smeltings School of Ordinary Things, learns to play rugby and does battle in a small scuffle. T...
Excellent parellel, I really liked it -- although am currently wondering what happens to the ickle Dudders ...
This is very nice. Part was a little confusing, but you seem to have changed the offending sentence. Also, the "muggle" names seem a bit... contrived. "Too" normal, but at the same time too conspicuous. But all in all, this is a well-written and funny piece, full of hilarious parallelism. Well-done!
Author\'s Response: Yes, I wasn't too sure what to do with the names, so I decided to go with contrived. The alternative was brand-new names, which would be confusing in the long run.

This is just hilarious, especially the line about James having some sort of job that paid him lots of money; that made me giggle out loud. The whole thing is a sort of loving send-up of JKR, and I'm enjoying it enormously.

Well, it's pretty boring so far, but I definitely got a giggle out of this. I think I'll really enjoy reading the adventures of Dudley. This is such an original idea, and your writing style fits it very well.

First off, thanks for reviewing my fic "The Wisdom of the Owl". So, anyway...
Hehehe... Funny little parody of the first book. Any chance of getting updated or continued anytime soon? :)
Quite an amusing parody you have going here. I look forward to more.

This is as cliche as all get-out, but it's funny enough to get away with it.

"It didn't kill that little boy. No one knows why, or how.'
'Air bags, I bet,' said Mrs McMonacle.
'Wait, I remember,' said Bumble. 'He wasn't in the car with them.'"
I loved that part! Story is very funny, you do a good parody =)

- This is just so fundamentally wrong. Thanks for writing it. I know it's been three years since you did this, but please, please continue it.
