I don't get it.
What was the last part about? Is that Tenchi thinking or his grandfather? what dept and who is going to be whose?Author's response
Eep, I didn't realize it'd be so confusing. It's the grandfather thinking that Ryoko will be in his debt - for putting Tenchi in a vulnerable position. I intentionally put in a bit a vagueness at the end (as at the time I wasn't sure how to end it - it was a one hour challenge), but now I just haven't thought about it in a long time.
