pretty well done, quite funny. The business about the Burrow being freezing cold is one (rather large) plot point that I would completely rip out of the story. I don't see the point to it, and I don't find it that funny.
In OoTP they spent Christmas at 11 Grimmauld place and there was no indication of extreme cold there?Author's response
Hmmm... first, thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts. Second, there is a reason for it. I was asked to mark up a copy of the story and note all of the puns, parodies, and so forth. I may still go ahead and do that, to help people catch all the little things that are buried in that one-shot. It would probably help you understand some of the cold/snowsuit references. You must've hit the Back button at the wrong moment, as you left two identical reviews.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, although the "pun"ishment is probably relative. I've had quite a few say they don't get it, which strikes me as ... odd.
We all need more parody stories.
