I was walking home when I saw him. His arm was draped around some tall skinny blonde. I could see him grinning like an idiot, it made me sick. I was now struggling to believe that an hour ago he was telling me he loved me.... yeah, love.
I walked home trying to get the image of them out of my head. I tried convincing myself I had made a mistake, it wasn't him. I could feel it niggling away at me. I reached for my keys, I needed to get away. I drove, I didn't know where, I didn't care.
I ended up in front of his house. I switched the engine off and waited.
After an hour of waiting a door opened flooding the street with light. I looked up and saw them entwined in each others arms. Before I knew what I was doing the car was racing at them. I had tears streaming down my face.
The last thing I heard was a solitary scream.......... Mine.
