  This is brilliant. I love Silent Hill 2, and I never once thought of the save points as being something so much more. (At least, not in 2. In Silent Hill 3, they're supposed to be resurrecting Heather, from what I've read.)
  
  And I love the insight into James' thoughts about killing Pyramid Head with the great knife.
