Julius POV
I put my hand on the door-knob, i pulled it away and then made up my mind I knocked on the door. I heard Delilah, cry out through the door
"GO AWAY AL!" before bursting into more tears
"it's not Al" i said looking at the floor, I could hear her footsteps running twords the door, she opened it and hugged me.
"oh Julius you had me so worried I thought you had left for good" she said looking me in the eyes to see some sadness.
"I.. am leaving but I needed to say goodbye to you" I said before hugging her, "good bye Delilah" I said and I let go of her and started to walk away.
Delilah's POV
"Julius, no! don't leave" I said running after him. I finally caught up to him outside by his car.
"Delilah don't make this harder than it already is" he said looking away. Tears came into my eyes
"why Julius? Why are you leaving? tell me that and I'll let you go" I said
"because I let you down" he said , and I could've sworn I saw tears in his eyes.
"how did you let me down?" I asked clearly confused. He pointed at my arm (which is in a cast)
"Julius that wasn't your fault" I said trying to hug him. I was surprised when he didn't hug me back
"yes it was i wasn't there to catch you and now I don't deserve to be your partner" he said before turning away.
"Julius, please don't go I cant live with out you." i said
"Yes you can, i'm not good enough to be even your friend" he said, looking away again
"if you leave you will never see me again, no-one will I can't live with out you I love you" I said before running away in tears
Julius POV
Delilah's last few words were still in my mind "... I can't live with out you I love you". I quickly ran after her.
"Delilah wait!" I said chasing her all the way to the river. Where I found her on the edge of the river, crying. I walked up to her and thought about what to say
"De? I didn't know that I was that important to you I was just doing what I thought was best for you" I said sitting beside her. She didn't look at me
"what was best for me? Do you know how much it hurt me when Al told me you left?" she said
"I'm sorry I just..." i said before stopping
" You just what?" she asked turning to face me.
"I love you so much i wanted what was best for you" I said blushing
"Oh julius I love you too" She said hugging me. When we parted we looked into eachothers eyes and leaned in until our lips touched, we kissed for what felt like an enternity. When we pulled apart She said
"so does this mean your staying?"
" I guess so but I still feel bad" I said before hugging her.
"well let's go home and get some sleep" she said taking my hand and leading me back to the academy.

sorry it took so long to update but i only update on fridays usually, anyway hope you like it I might do a twist on this story about what would happen if Julius didn't open the door. Well rate and review, and please upadte your own stories.:)
