  This feels like a transitional chapter, where nothing really big happens but it moves the story along anyway. I'm not saying it is bad, just that I feel as if nothing of importance happened here. Anyway, looking forward to the next chapter!

  Thank you for reading and responding. Yep, right in one, this is a transitional chapter, but later in the story you'll see why this one was needed. packs up ladder, picks up paint can and ladder and walks offstage
