my alarm clock goes off
and I wonder
just for a moment
whether I am
still dreaming

and I realize that
life sucks
not in general
but just today
today sucks

and I swing my arm
at that
infernal
device
and I
miss
Buzz Buzz Buzz
and I wonder
just for a moment
if I can still sleep
with all that

buzzing
and I realize that
I have to get up
I do understand
but just today
I don't want to

if the alarm will give up first
