Ok, first of all, I absolutely loved the ending, where Joe huffs off to bed because tomorrow would be a better day for temper tantrums. It was so great because that was exactly how you ended the last chapter; which Fiona thinking tomorrow would be a better day to ask questions about phone calls. Anywho, I thought that was just pretty clever. ;)
And Joe! You know, he is definately a favorite of mine in your story!!! He's understanding Yiddish, and forever trying to eat something- anything!- if it would just stay down.
I was a little disapointed that my questions were not answered about that phone call... I guess Fi was just too drunk to remember, and that's completely understandable. But you leave me still wanting to know more! I mean, it was obviously not a GOOD thing that this Amy is calling...
Oh well, your characters are fantastic and I am anxiously awaiting more! (as well as awaiting more to all your other stories... I'm thinking I may have to kidnap you and lock you away in a room with only a pen and paper so you HAVE to produce more of this wonderfulness.)

All in good time my dear, all in good time. lol and by that i mean the phone call is explained in the next chapter.
also i love my joe character, i'm pretty sure the real joe doens't speak any Yiddish, but if he did i don't even know if i would be able to contain myself.
also i don't think i would mind being kidnapped as long as i'm well fed. lol
