Broken up inside

I love him so how can I tell him,
How I used to think,
So confused,
So broken up inside,
Gray is now the color,
Of my usually green eyes,
Worried about how,
He will react,
With my stupid past.
Why can't it just die,
All that pain I held,
Inside.
So how can I hold back,
All the tears when I can't,
Even control them,
Will he believe a single word,
That I say,
Or will it make no sense,
To him.
So broken up inside,
But somehow the feelings I try to hide.
