Alone and onloved
he stands by your side
afraid of commitment
but you don't know why.

You thought he really loved you
but that wasn't true
you gave him your heart
your whole world too.

You did all that
but what did he care?
he got what he wanted
then left you there.

Now alone and unloved
a blade sits by your side
your only companion
your one true enemy

By the time this night is over
you'll have left this hateful place
you'll cry no more tears
you'll feel no more pain

as you think of all this
you bring the blade to your wrists
a few quick slashes
and they go limp

You quickly wrote a note
in the blood by your side
for your light was fading
you had very little time

You wrote " Now the game is over,
all the is done,
I no longer have to see his face,
or think of all that he has done."

Alone and unloved
you watch from the sky
you see how he cries
as he sits by your side.
