  Ooh. Very very interesting looking AU fic, and it seems pretty plausable too. I happen to really love fics involving Balthier and Ashe to boot, so this seems really promising to me. I think your characters are pretty much on the mark, and your writing style is enjoyable to read.

  This story is a great example of why you're on my 'favourites' list. Your attention to detail really brings all your scenes to life. You perfectly captured Ashe's arrogance and Balthier's practical cynicism. This is an awesome AU that I would love to see develop into something longer.

  That was quite a hot little read. Not only did I enjoy the sex bit despite its shades of non-consensual-ness, but the descriptions were incredibly evocative and the characters quite in-character for being an AU. Very, very nice. I hope you'll consider making this longer at some point, but if not, this is certainly a great little one-shot.
