Quite a good update. I like Harry's conversations with Dumbledore. He's always so...disarmed.

    Author's response

disarmed??? Nah, Dumbledore still has both arms AND both hands at this point. BJH

I find Dumbledores attitude here incredibly annoying! And the way Snape is so smug and superiour. ARGH! I hope you will have Harry wipe the smirks from both their faces. In the case of Snape hopefully in a very permanent fashion. Love the story! Please write more soon!

    Author's response

Ah, there is nothing so annoying as the self-righteous. BJH

I love a well-thought out ritual (even if it might be a prank), and this looks promising. And I think Severus will end up turned into luggage. Hopefully soon

I do hope my plan lives up to your expectations. As for Sevie-baby... I still can't make up my mind who has the most right to be his downfall. Harry? James and Lily? Or Sirius? Maybe we ought to just let Sirius' old prank come to fruition and let Snape meet the werewolf? BJH

Ah, good to see an update. Dumbledore can never see beyond his own tunnel vision. It's sad. I have no idea what you have planned for those chocolates, but I'm looking forward to seeing what it is.

I hope you post more soon.

I think Albus got the notion into his head that he is a god. As a god he cannot make mistakes, lives are his to play with, and with a bit of power showing anyone will be cowed and do his bidding. That is why he thinks people can be sacrificed as long as his pet projects (reforming Snape and Draco and buying time as Harry said) is perfectly acceptable to him. To him so what if he leaves a couple of kids orphaned and good people dead. As long as he gets what he wants he will sacrifice anyone of the light side to accomplish his goals.

Anyway, that is what I think of Dumbledork. I hope that somewhere in the near future you prove he is not a god as he thinks he is and have the bastard killed.

    Author's response

Well, I don't think Albus thinks of himself as a god, at least in this story, but he does think he is doing God's work. He is sincerely Light and sincerely thinks that what he does is for the best but there lies the problem. The road to hell is paved in good intentions. More on this to come. BJH

I love this Harry - he's tough and smart. Moreover, he's only ruthless when it's appropriate. Dumbledore's chessplayer approach is maddening.
I can't wait to see what he's doing with the candy...

    Author's response

I'm glad that, at least to you, the characters are coming across exactly as I intended. We'll what's up with the candy next chapter. Thanks for reading. BJH

Great chapter. The insight into Dumbledore's character is fantastic...you've painted him as a brutally uncaring man, completely apathetic to the fates of others, as long as the 'greater good' is achieved.

I find myself sympathizing with Harry to the point that I want to see Snape recieve his comeuppance quite brutally.

Well done, and good luck writing the next chapter.

    Author's response

Albus? Uncaring?? Heaven forfend! Albus cares deeply and sincerely. The only question is: about what? Thanks for the review. BJH

This is interesting. I do hope that you update soon. I'm curious if this is a prank or something more devious.

    Author's response

Why can't it be both? BJH

Another awesome chapter! Have him kill off Snape and blame it on Draco!
