Harry and Co. seek the remaining Horcruxes and find just a little more than they bargained for . . .
(#) Geovanni_Luciano 2007-03-24 07:34:56 AMOK that's all well and good but the spiders owe Harry a life debt for destroying the snake in the first place. Thought I'd mention it. It's nice that they have a new home, however. :-D
Author's responsePerhaps in another HP universe the acromantuale will honor a life debt, but in this one they are making a nest under the best food source they could hope for . . .
More in the next chapter.
(#) angyelsglaive 2007-03-24 09:54:04 AMAragog may have been under a life debt as patriarch and guardian of the acromantula clan, but the rest of them aren't, sorry to disagree, G. Either way, it's no good. I do believe that this is the first time I have ever seen the basilisk cleaned up before Harry reentered the Chamber. Very nice.
Author's responseGood call Angyelsglaive (love to know the origins of that name), more info on the great hairy spiders next chapter.
By the way, congrats on being the 100th reviewer for this story, send me an e-mail (in my profile) and I'll send along a cyber prize (no money, sorry, but a nice little tune I wrote and performed at my last gig)
- Of course dumbledore would figure it out first! it wasn't that hard.
O no their dinner!lol sr. to me that was funny. update soon
Author's responseAs always, thanx for reading and reviewing, more on our hairy eight-legged friends next chapter and a surprising addition to the 'family.'
- Very interesting. I don't think I've read a story where the spiders have set up their nest in the Chamber. Of all the things I expected to be down there those were not one of them.
Can't wait to see where things are headed now that they've got most of the horcruxes. Keep up the great work!
Author's responseAs always, thanx for reading and reviewing. Next chapter you'll find out why Salazar had the basilisk in the Chamber in the first place.
(#) glazedlookineyes101 2007-03-28 04:49:22 AMSorry for not reviewing sooner. Anyway, I like this chapter for revealing where all of the Horcruxes are. It was amazing that the bulk of them were in the Headmaster's office the entire time! I also liked the conversation between Harry, Marie, Bella, Minerva and Dumbledore's painting. I don't know who is more surprised, McGonagall or Dumbledore!
It was very original of you to have the Acromantulas in the Chamber of Secrets. It will be a big problem when the school reopens and there are giant spiders picking off the kids to eat. I hope you destroy them all! Those poor kids! Preventive measures needed!
Author's responseThanks for reading and reviewing, as you can see the spiders will be a temporary distraction at best. Y'know, if you broil them just right they taste like lobster?
