I Cry Over You

It relieves me not, crying over you,
While in the endless silence of night
The dawn creeps forward
Shunning the darkness in light

My tears waste way into nothingness,
While my soul reaches for you
My arms betray their strength
Trembling, wishing for us two

We used to be as stars in the sky
Two lovers glittering in joy and in pain
For the passions controlled us
But no matter that, I yours remain

Still I grieve and will not stop
Unless into my warm embrace
You shall return with a smile
And in my arms you'll find your place
If only for a while

Over time my strength regains
But deep wounds take time to heal
And my heart lies broken yet
Your warmth on my body still I feel
