Okay, I am soooooo sorry that I did not update as soon as I promised. Not only have I had TONS of homework, but my grandma has been in the hospital for quite a while so I haven't had the time to update. So here is the next chapter (not the last). There will be one more chapter that I hopefully should have up by next weekend (if I get enough reviews). So here is chapter 3. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own class of the titans.

Chapter 3

Jay was being pulled out to the ambulance with Theresa still gripping to his hand tightly. She would not let go.

They reached the ambulance and the paramedics began to haul Jay into it.

"I'm sorry miss, but there's no room for you in the ambulance." The paramedic said to Theresa.

"No, I have to come. I'm the only one he has right now, so I have to come. I'll sit squeezed in the corner if I have to, but I don't care. I'm coming" Theresa said sternly. No one should ever mess with a woman in love when she's on a mission and the paramedic now knew this.

He made room for Theresa in the corner of the ambulance, but she remained holding Jay's hand as the paramedic tried to stop the bleeding.

Time seemed to purposely slow down during the ride to the hospital. It was only a mere ten minutes but it felt like hours to Theresa who was trying to remain calm, although wasn't very successful.

"How much longer will it take to get to the hospital? I mean, this is an ambulance, can't we just pass right by people?!" Theresa exclaimed.

"Miss, if you don't calm down, I'm going to kick you out of this ambulance and I've never had to do that before so I don't want to start now!" the paramedic exclaimed right back at her.

After this outburst, Theresa remained quiet, which made her notice how much paler Jay looked now. He was not awake yet.

His blood was beginning to clot, but he hadn't stop bleeding yet, which made Theresa worry.

Once they arrived at the hospital, the paramedics rushed Jay to emergency with Theresa still gripping to his hand. He still had not awoken.

"I'm sorry miss, but you need to leave him now. We have to operate to remove the bullet" a nurse kindly told Theresa.

"You can sit in the waiting room and we'll come to find you if we find anything out" the nurse said as she pointed to a chair in the corner of the waiting room.

The nurse then left Theresa to her thoughts. Once she sat down she began to feel a new emotion that was indescribable. She could not explain how she felt. She now realised how much she loved Jay. It was no longer a high school crush but she now realised that he was the one. He was the only one she would ever love and if she lost him, she herself, would be lost.

The nurse had somehow contacted the rest of the team and they had quickly quit whatever they were doing and rushed to the hospital. Neil had even stopped practising for his next fashion show.

"Theresa!" Atlanta yelled as she had spotted Theresa sitting alone in the corner of the waiting room.

"Hey guys" Theresa mumbled.

"How's he doing?" Odie asked as he took a seat in one of the other chairs.

"Not good" Theresa replied as she continued to stare at the floor.

"Don't worry, he's strong. He'll make it" Atlanta told Theresa although it wasn't very reassuring as you could hear the sadness in her voice.

Theresa was about to say something as she saw the nurse come out of Jay's room.

Theresa quickly got up and rushed over to her.

"So?" Theresa asked.

"Well... I'm afraid it doesn't look good. He has lost a lot of blood and he has a rare blood type. We don't have any doners here with his kind of blood," the nurse said.

"I'm not just gonna give up like that!" Theresa yelled although she hadn't realised it was out loud.

"What kind of blood type does he have that is so rare?" Theresa asked the nurse.

"He has blood type O. It is our least common blood type here in the hospital. Right now we are keeping him alive, but if we don't find his blood type in the next few hours, we have to pull the plug. I'm sorry," the nurse said as she walked away.

"Wait!" Theresa screamed after the nurse who turned around.

"If I can find a blood doner, will he be able to live?" Theresa asked hopefully.

"If you can find another person in this city with the blood type O and is willing to give their blood to a complete stranger, then you go right ahead, but like I said we can only wait for a few hours. Good luck." The nurse said as she finally left to care for another patient.

'Don't worry Jay. I'll save you.' Theresa thought as she went to return to the rest of the gang to reveal her plan.

Little did she know, it would not be an easy task.

"Guys I need your help.." Theresa said, as she explained her plan to everyone.

"Okay, so where do we start?" Archie asked.

"Actually, I have no idea. We can't just go onto the street and ask people what kind of blood type they have, and if they have the right one, we can't just ask them if they can give us a litre or so." Theresa said.

"Theresa's right, we have to come up with a better plan, and fast. We don't have a lot of time." Odie said.

"We could always go to the blood clinic and ask for a list of their blood donors." Neil said. This caused everyone to become quiet. How did Neil come up with such a good idea?

"Okay, that's actually a good idea." Theresa said, as everyone else was too shocked to say anything.

"I'll go ask the nurse for the address of the blood clinic then." Atlanta said, as Theresa followed her.

"Okay, so we have the address of the clinic, so let's go" Theresa said, as everyone left to find a blood donor.

Theresa knew she didn't have a lot of time to save Jay, so she didn't take her time. She practically sprinted into the clinic, startling a few other people.

"Excuse me, could you help me?" Theresa asked one of the doctors sweetly.

"Yes, I can help you, what do you need?" the doctor said.

"I need you to tell me or show me if anyone has donated any blood with the type O recently." Theresa said.

"I'm sorry, but I can't give that type of information out, unless I have a note from a doctor or something like that." The doctor said, as she turned back to some paperwork.

At this point, the rest of the gang entered the clinic and ran up to Theresa, but noticed she didn't look very happy.

"Theresa, they wouldn't tell you?" Atlanta asked.

Suddenly Theresa had a vision.

Theresa seemed to be speaking to Atlanta, but the doctor was eavesdropping from behind the front desk. From what Theresa could see, the doctor had a tear in her eye from what Theresa was saying.

End of vision

"Theresa, did you just have a vision?" Atlanta asked. The rest of the gang went to sit in the waiting room.

"Shh... the doctor is listening, just play along okay?" Theresa said.

Atlanta nodded. Theresa was going to spread the truth just a little bit.

"Atlanta, this is so unfair." Theresa began as she began to make herself cry on demand.

"I was supposed to marry him tomorrow and he was going to be the father of my baby! I can't raise a child on my own. I need him. I can't survive without him. If he doesn't receive some blood soon, I'll lose him, which I can't stand to do. Atlanta, I love him. I think I'll die without him. I never thought it was possible to love someone as much as I love Jay. If I lose him, I won't be able to go on. He is my entire life." Theresa cried as the fake tears kept coming.

"Okay, okay, that's enough. I'll help you find what you're looking for, as long as you stop crying." the doctor said as she came out from behind her desk. As in Theresa's vision, she seemed to have a few tears in her eyes.

"Oh, thank you, thank you so much." Theresa said as she wiped her fake tears away.

"Now, what do you need?" the doctor asked.

"I need to find a blood donor for blood type O. My husband is in the hospital, and he's going to die unless he receives blood." Theresa said as she lied through her teeth.

"Okay, let me look. You can just sit in the chairs in the waiting room while I look in our files. I'm sure I can find someone so don't worry." The doctor said as she gave Theresa a kind smile and left into the file room.

"Yes!" Theresa exclaimed as she jumped into the air and hugged Atlanta.

"Atlanta, we're so close to saving Jay." Theresa said as she let go of Atlanta.

"Theresa, where did you learn to act like that? I mean, how did you make yourself cry?" Atlanta asked looking surprised and impressed.

"I wasn't acting. I just said what I felt, but don't' tell the guys I said all that stuff, okay? They'll make fun of my mushiness." Theresa said as they entered the waiting room.

As soon as Atlanta and Theresa told the guys about how they were getting help, the doctor walked in.

"I looked in the files, and surprisingly we only have one blood donor in the area that is registered with that type of blood. That person is... Emily Sheridan."

At this point, Theresa looked like she was going to be sick. That was her mother, who passed away a few years ago, before she even came to New Olympia.

"Umm.. Excuse me, but that was my mother, and she passed away a few years ago. Don't you have that on record?" Theresa asked as she tried to hold back her tears.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. We were never told anything about that, I'll go fix the files right now and again I'm sorry." The doctor said as she walked away.

"What are we going to do now? We only have one more hour until the doctors pull the plug." Archie said, which was obviously not the right thing to say as Theresa burst into tears.

What were they going to do?

Okay, I'm going to leave you there. Will they be able to save Jay?
Find out in the next chapter. :P
