A beautiful look into an event on Braska's pilgrimage. Interesting parallel to current tensions between homosexuality and Christianity. Auron's discomfort with the "sacrilege" versus his own beliefs of the innate goodness of Yevon makes good food for thought. The ending is bittersweet, because we know just how strongly Auron will mourn. Wonderful story.

Author\'s Response: There was always something that felt a bit off about this story, but I think it's really because of the disconnect between how _I_ feel and how Auron feels in this situation. I'm glad that his discomfort shines through. :)

This is a perfect story. The characters are all "in character", and I really felt like it was REAL, you know? Loved it.

Author\'s Response: I'm glad. Then it came across just like I was hoping it would. As a "this is something that really happened" type of story. :)
