  oooh! I wanna see what's next!
  I think I especially like the insight you gave to Naruto's character, although I'm not sure Itachi would ever stop to consider the morality of kidnapping Naruto.
  Also, if you could explain in a later chapter why Itachi would kidnap Naruto (does he even know about the Kyuubi before he joins up with the Akatsuki?), it would be greatly appreciated. Maybe... maybe Itachi left with the intention of joining them? Hmm... hadn't thought of that.
