i felt a cold hand caressing my cheek.

"Audrei, listen to me...i love you and i'll always love you! im sorry, i didnt mean to hurt you" his voice said. i knew i heard him say that before. i turned to the side and he stopped caressing my cheek.

"i didnt mean to put you through so much pain" he said again. i felt his icy cold fingers lace with mine. it sent shivers up my spine.

"im so sorry" then i heard him begin to cry...

i wanted to open my eyes and tell him that it was okay...but i felt so weak and i didnt know why... i wanted to tell him that i, too, loved him...but i couldnt. his icy fingers left mine and i heard him walk away and close a door...

"Gerard..." i whispered in my half-conscious state before actually going back into a deep sleep...
