Wow, that was a rather extreme reaction from Hermione. I felt really bad for her when it seemed like she really blew it with her comments. Then I felt happy for her when it seemed like she got a second chance! I wonder, will she be just a friend or will she inducted into the family later? So does this mean the Hermione VS. Ginny thing is over? I like HHr of course but Damn I was really hoping Harry would get them both!
I have a question. Why didn’t Harry seem to even THINK about Ginny even once throughout this fic? She was his very recent ex-girlfriend after all. I understand him thinking of Hermione and Bella picking up on it since according to this chapter he’s been in love with her for 5 years. However, not a single thought for Ginny?
Okay, I’m curious. Just What, or Who, was Neville’s happy thought? Also, what were Ron and Luna’s happy thoughts? Ron I wonder since Hermione is not with him, while Luna if she is with Neville then I understand.
It’s too bad about Tina Morris. However, her life isn’t totally over. She can still live and she has a veteran Lycantrophy survivor helping her.
Wait, since when is the Grey Lady Rowena Ravenclaw? I don’t remember that!
Oh gosh, I feel really, really bad for Phaedra and her daughter Selene. That was really horrible! Who killed Selene and why!? He or she should get ripped apart by the inferi!
Sorry about how I seem to keep changing subjects. Anyway, great chapter here and I look forward to the battle between Harry and Voldemort. I also look forward to Harry’s battle with his old life clashing with his new. Oh boy, Molly is a fuse! I don’t know if I’ve said this enough but I love this fic :)
Will you be writing a new fic or a sequel to this when you finish Family Issue? I hope you keep on writing Harry Potter fanfics. You are a talented writer and very, very original. You take old cliches and thrown them away (ex. Myrtle!)Author's response
Thanks, as always, for reading and reviewing. Hermione just reminded us that we need to engage the brain before starting the mouth, and we all have our insecruities, truth be told, I see her as a very insecure person. I am a Harry/Hermione shipper from the word go. Funny thing, I wasn't even going to have Harry and family meet any of the old gang until after the last battle, oh well. Harry has feelings for Ginny, he wants to shelter and protect her, trouble is, little firebrand that she is, she doesn't want sheltering and protecting. I see Ginny as a friend and Hermione as a love interest. But hey, things change. Neville's 'happy thought' becomes plain in the last chapter, as does Luna's (and no, it's not each other . . .) The slimeball that killed little Selene will be given a gruesome death.
I don't have a sequel for this story, it's a stand alone, but I may migrage my characters from "A Magic Beyond All We Do Here" over the pond and have them interact with the Hogwart's gang.
I also have an outline for "The Afterlife and Times of Myrtle Potter."
Cant help it, I love that little ghost . . . -

And I thought you just made a surrogate Hermione of Marietta and left Hermione out of it. But then you come with the "Oh, I've loved you for the last five years. - Me too." thingie. Urgh.
The fight however wasn't that bad and there was a quite nice and original emotional scene (with Phaedra, not the crap with Hermione).Author's response
Thank you for reading and responding, and thanks for your candor, if you don't like something I write feel free to say so. I guess you feel the H/Hr relationship has become cliche? I have a confession to make though, I love Hermione Granger, and I believe that she and Harry are made for each other.
I do plan to use Phaedra in some of my later fictions though, I feel she has potential. -

Thank you for reading and reviewing. Yeah, I'm an unabashed H/Hr shipper. I just feel they are perfect together. Ginny is one seriously intense fangirl, but I feel she'll have her head on straight by the end of the story. -

Incredible,Brilliant, You Have Out Done Yourself. Hermione Is Finally With Her Man.I Was Impressed With The Battle And How It Was Handled,I'm Glad That It Wasn't Boring Nor Was It The Epic Battle As In LOTR. It Was Handeled As A Military Strike.It Was The First time That I've Read The Battle Scene That Way.Please Continue Writing After This Story,You Have Become One Of My Favorite Authors...And Now....No No Rant This Time. Just Some Questions.If Hermione Asked Both Harry And Ron To Read Hogwarts A History Witch One Would Actually Read It? Thanks, as always, for reading and responding and wow, thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I have two stories in outline form - again featuring little used characters or original characters. Harry would definitely read "Hogwart's, a History," Ron would expect Hermione to tell him whatever he needed to know from it. Harry would be devastated by the loss of either of his best mates; however, if he were to lose Ron (with Hermione's TLC) he'd recover . . . -
