Do you mean present tense here rather than first person?
Aside from that and a few nitpicking grammar errors (very nitpicking :P), quite good. Yuffie's thought processes are as entertaining as they ought to be. ^^ -

i just want to say that i really enjoyed your story and i can't WAIT FOR MORE! i love how you kept yuffie in character. that's exactly the way i've always imagined her. i think it's kinda sad about cloud and tifa though. he'll never love her like he loved aeris and she knows. he's so damn lucky she can live with that fact. i can't wait until vincent and yuffie meet up. that'll be fun!

Wow. Much applause to you. It's very difficult to write Yuffie in a manner that's not annoying or immature. Alot of stories I read about her are like that. This is actually the way I thought of Yuffie. A little older, reflective, but still humorous. I love your description of Cloud and Tifa as sparklers...very memorable lines. Write more please! -

You nailed her voice, absolutely nailed it. And kudos for not making Tifa hate Aeris. They didn't hate each other in the game. Tifa closed Aeris' eyes and ran away crying.
I think you mean that Cloud was talking about Aeris in the "present tense," (does, is, has) but you said "first person" (I do, I am, I have). That was a bit confusing.
(sigh) Yuffie's being all meaning of life and insightful and still all she can think of is setting things on fire with shiney-sparklie candles.
Things do seem a bit too idyllic, though. I figured that Midgar was destroyed at the end. Wouldn't that mean that Reeve was dead? Where exactly is this new Seventh Heaven?
