  Hmmm. Perhaps it's because I like Adam a lot better than I like Tom, or because first person perspective doesn't do much for me, but I liked the intro and closing bits far better than the main story.
  
  Whether Tom is more compassionate than Adam is debatable (because Tom seemed pretty heartless at times to me), but at least you've managed to make a reasonably convincing case for Adam being as he is.
  
  And his reaction at the end is just a bit chilling. Nice

  like it very much i think ton is a lot better than Adam not only in compasion but as a spy too.
  it makes sense that someone like Tom start to write. besides Tom is relax and Adam tense and a litle scared.
