Before it's too late.

She holds on tightly to the edge,
waiting for a hand to help her.
People pass by her,
ignore her like she isn't in trouble,
Like she's nothing.
They go on complaining,
while she goes on struggling.
She waits and worries,
will anyone ever care,
or will they just allow her to suffer?
She screams for help,
all the signs are there.
She hopes to be seen,
before she gives up hope,
and stops hanging on.
