  I really enjoyed reading this short little piece. I've looked at some Cid/Vincent before and not really been able to believe in it at all.
  
  Obviously the most wonderful part of it all is that Cid recognizes and appreciates the craftsmanship, the mechanical nature of Vincent's arm, which is precisely what Vincent dislikes about it.

  :) I'm glad you liked it. I try to write these two as in-character as I can, because yeah, there's a lot of unbelievable Cid and Vincent stories out there. And I think that Cid's down-to-earth, "what's your ISSUE?" attitude would be good for Vincent. :)

  very nice....I like the way Cid is ablivious to Vincent 'deformity and simple views vincents arm the same way he views all 'machines', with a respectful appriciation. It balances nicely against Vincents simple hatred of it. Nice one!!
