Ryan took a deep breath and finished buttoning his white shirt. Tonight was it, the night. The night he was expecting, the night were his true feelings would come alive. He was prepared for everything Brendon could say. They had just played a show and he had to admit he was tired, but nothing was compared to what he would feel in a couple of hours.
Kamz entered his dressing room, "So are you ready?" she asked with a smile.
"Yeah..." Ryan answered, "Although I've had better days."
"Don't worry; I know everything is going to turn out alright. Brendon is waiting for you outside."
"Oh shit!" Ryan exclaimed, suddenly getting nervous, "Do I look fine?"
"You look sexy, now go!"
"Sure!" he said and opened door, but stopped. "Thanks for everything..." he said and hugged her.
"I've told you, you don't need to thank me. Now really go!"
He walked out of the dressing and found himself in front of Brendon. His heart started to beat way to fast. For a second he regretted what he was about to do, but then he remembered he had to do it. There was no turning back. "Hey Bren!" Ryan greeted nonchalantly.
"Hey! So, where are we going?" he asked playing with the keys on his hands.
"Well, I thought we could go somewhere really simple. I just need somewhere were I can feel comfortable." Ryan explained, "And I don't need fans around."
"That's hard, but I guess we can find a place." Brendon affirmed with a smile on his face.
After some minutes of driving around the city Brendon got an idea. "I have a better idea, why don't we just get fries in Burger King or something and stay in the car." He suggested, looking at a sweaty Ryan on the passenger's sit.
"Good idea!" Ryan exclaimed.
Brendon passed by a Burger King drive-thru and ordered. He also parked in Burger King to eat and talk. Brendon had many things to say to Ryan too. He wanted to talk about the unknown sensation he had been feeling lately. "So, what's up?" he asked, shoving a hand full of fries on his mouth.
He took a deep breath, "Brendon, what I'm going to say is not going to affect a friendship even though it seems rather difficult to live with it on your mind." Ryan started. "You see, lately... well not lately, since we met I started getting this feelings. At first I thought it was a whim or something like that but as time passed I realized it was love."
Brendon stopped eating, "Meaning you..."
"Yes, I love you."
Yeah, suspense. I know I'm not the best at it, but you won't know until next chapter Brendon's response. evil laugh
